As a matter of fact we still haven't even received the video for SBOTA. Yeah, well the disastrous marketing campaign is on. Album's out in one month, time to wake up BDI people There's still time. Right now they're on decent footing. However it doesn't appear as if SBOTA is getting much airplay they're not in too mad of shape in terms of marketing. Would love to hear about some late night spots or something in the couple of weeks. Something more than just the odd interview and a radio appearance every week. |

Well usually it's one news at a time so it would be odd to have tour news + video. Who knows. I would release the video asap though, coz SBOA has not been heard outside of this forum. I don't like that, but they need a good video to promote the song. releasing a single without a video was already dumb in the 80s, so in 2013...

They're not even important today as they were five years. However, it would be wrong to discount videos completely. They still serve enough of a purpose as a promotional tool that it still does have the capacity to create some buzz. As much crap as Mike Bruce got thrown his way, the night the TDOYAM was spectacular because the video was literally up in no time between the first airplay and youtube. It was fairly impressive and the quality of the video was great along with the song. A video doesn't sell a song like it used to up until 10 years ago, but it can still provide nice support to a good song. |
