Loving the tone and timbre of his voice from what we've heard so far.
Still unique and still brilliant. Don't understand the complaints about it being nasal - he's always had a sneer to his voice. I think he's on top form.

Atm he's singing with his nose. Personally I find it quite annoying. Can't understand how u can love it, but each to their own i guess. Still hear It's Liam though, and that's good enough for me. We'll never get his 90s voice back, so better get used to it.

I quite liked his vocals on World Outside My Room, I hope they tried something like that on the album. I also like that they produced his vocals (on what we've heard so far) in a similar way they'd sound live instead of drowning them in effects, coz they could easily have removed/edited the nasally bits.

I actually like his voice on DGSS. Especially on the heavier songs like FLW and 3RC. Not to impressed with the voice on BE so far. FOTF he is ok, SBOTA he is bad imo.

My mates text said it all. He sounds like an anteater howling through his snout.

To be honest...with every new release....DOYS, DGSS, BE.....it takes me a number of listens to re-acustom myself to his voice. I never had that issue before DOYS, not sure why but his voice is simply an acquired taste nowadays.

i don't care for Liam's vocal on Second Bite of The Apple either.......it's time to not have the lead vocals be so dominant and add more layers and volume to all the other parts...
that's my amateur producer moment of the year.
God bless.

Ta. just leave if you don't like Beady Eye, if you would have a relevant criticism it would be something different, but with arguments like "my friend said ..." i see no reason for you being here at all.

Guys, please don't pay any attention to the troll. Ignore him. He's not worth to receive any comments on here.
More you response him, more he feels like a "big" boy behind his mobile.

I think it's the worst he's sounded on record in the two songs we've heard from BE thus far. Silly decision to have the vocals dry and exposed imo.

Though I don't think that's the biggest problem. It sounds to me like they just accepted the first take of the vocals instead of re-doing the bits that sounded unpleasant.

As his voice departed from the 94'-98' throat, it had to become an acquired taste undoubtly.
However it's worsening and worsening, so badly. I can get used to it, but I wonder what would any not-oasis-listener think about his voice if you put him in a BE concert.
One last thing: Lately he no longer stretchs the vowels, he just make a cobra move, away from the mic... I don't like that either.

Of course his voice is fucking dying, he sang from his throat and pretty much screamed for 6 years, it's gonna happen. It doesn't matter to me and it mostly likely doesn't matter to him either.

Slightly off topic; does anyone else think they've deliberately written short simple vocals for him to easily sing them live?

Slightly off topic; does anyone else think they've deliberately written short simple vocals for him to easily sing them live? That would make sense. You write to your singer's voice. I always thought as Oasis went on that Noel got left adept a constantly readjusting and writing toward Liam's voice.

Yeah I remember in Beady Eye's RAK Them Out EPK that they wrote and worked the songs around Liam's voice

They definitely said they recorded the tracks around the vocal. They said in oasis they would fully record the song then Liam had to sing the vocals last.

I think they're just shying away from longer songs since they tend to get criticized for ones that go on longer than a few minutes, I don't think we'll be getting a 10 minute AATW anthem anytime soon, Wigwam is probably the only exception, but maybe we'll get lucky and there will be a couple 7 minute wave your arms in the air moments on the album

What fuck are some of you people on?....he's had a nasally vocal style & polarised opinion from day one but now some of you want him to get all Michael Buble on us?. His vocals are far from being technically brilliant but what he lacks in technical ability he makes up for in raw attitude & distinctiveness....the guy has never ducked singing live be it during good or bad times, something no other artist or band would do nowadays as everything is far to polished & perfect. And I distinctly remember every producer that has worked with him (sitek being the latest) saying how good a voice he has - style, attitude & annunciation. I honestly don't understand what you so called "fans" want?, all these negative comments directed at things he/they have done for years, It would appear you are not actually fans & are picking up on anything to bash one of the greatest British rock stars to have done it & continues to do it. In fact a lot of the greats can barely hold a tune but they have that "something" that separates them from the good - Dylan, Lennon, Jagger are 3 that spring to mind & Liam is righ up there with them.
