Truly historic. A huge event in the history of humanity!!
I'm glad such a historic moment in our history got a dvd release.
Surely more important than the march on Washington?
In 2003, Robbie Williams performed at Knebworth over a three-day period, drawing crowds of over 375,000, and a further 3.5 million who watched live on television and online.[1] This was reputedly the biggest UK pop concert ever and caused a huge traffic jam on the A1(M) as an estimated 130,000 cars[2] tried to reach the venue. A subsequent album, entitled Robbie Williams – Live At Knebworth, was released, and reached number two in the UK charts. A DVD release followed.
HISTORY.

Thought it was lame when he had a dig about Oasis only playing 2 nights, given they could have sold enough tickets to play about 25 like

Oasis at Knebworth was always more 'culturally' significant if you know what I mean - I mean, that was the peak of Britpop. It was always the image of five shabby working class lads up on stage blowing everyone away and being top of the world which will always stick in peoples minds I think - I suppose that 'common man' touch the Gallaghers had back then was what added to the thrill of a massive batch of already fantastic songs. When you're millionaires and start up your own fashion label, everything tends to look less attractive (of course they never really bothered to make another really great album is the main sticking point, filling albums with filler).
Not to take anything away from Robbie's achievements of course, I admit his tunes are pleasant to listen to, just like Take That.
