I think so too. But that's from digging on twitter. There hasn't been an official announcement about the first full single other than the first radio play date. Okay, gotcha. ...you know, now that I think of it, an album I got earlier this year was released online one night without any warning...the excitement lasted a day or two and was great and all, but by then everyone had the music so it was over with fairly quickly. I can see why it works alot better to keep us waiting and build up the hype. I mean, they're keeping us talking about it. As much as I don't care for the idea of a radio premier it's something to keep fans waiting on and keeps up their interest. Point being, from a promotional perspective I get why they make us wait so long. Not to say they're doing a good job of it in this case, but waiting a few weeks never killed anybody. Apologies if that made absolutely no sense, Im tired. |

Why does there need to be a build up to a radio premier? The Internet is the best "radio station" in the world. I'd much prefer to just wake up on a random morning and see the track posted on YouTube, soundcloud, iTunes, twitter, Facebook, etc. To me that's exciting. Beady Eye are doing just fine during this initial promo cycle. The people on this forum are fired up by FOTF, the album cover rocks and we have a track listing plus some gigs. More importantly.....we all desire more! . I think you hit the nail on the head. .... For this era and time the radio stuff is ancient ,, in my day it's all we had my crew and most tbh didnt follow rolling stone back then they were to art house then ... So we got all our info from the DJ. If the clash or smiths came on. They would be like in studio now ! And we would be stoked ... When the rock the casbah single dropped. WPLJ. CAROL MILLER. BROKE IT .. Saturday night show. It was huge. We all couldn't wait for her to drop it ...but now as you say. There so much more from technology to enjoy radio is passé. Sadly for me ....but you are correct in my view |

Let It Bleed only saying this cause I never know when your joking or not , I don't know her but what I do is pm them i PM Ed britishlove and lo and behold she responded I did the same with belfastdon in 08 and he got back to me apparently he was lurking the whole time and liked the way I never lost my passion , sadly he didnt come back life in Spain and such ... Eggy I pmed shakermaker100 all cats that haven't deleted that I like , hey dev probably would have came back anyway but at least she knew when she logged on here for first time in years a pm from a old friend was there ! I never got one ( didn't really deserve one I was in and out from 09 -11 as I see I did have some mumbling s in those incoherent years so no need to pm I was never totally gone ) Point being unless you were just fooling around if you really are concerned pm her if she lurks she may appreciate it. DEV DID
