what are some other really good Sigur Ros songs i can look up? God bless. Give their album Takk a listen, their most accesible, well known album and their best imo. Thanks for that as well, I've been wanting to check them out but I didn't know where to start

anyone rip the Zane interview. missed it! Yea, wondering where that is at the moment. It says on the BBC1 page www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01s31r0 that the episode will be up soon, so we should be able to listen/download again.

Is there anywhere in the U.S. to officially download “Second Bite of The Apple” and “Dreaming of Some Space”?

Is there anywhere in the U.S. to officially download “Second Bite of The Apple” and “Dreaming of Some Space”? I know right! Another thing I noticed...it isn't up on any torrent/file sharing site (or the popular ones) I have a feeling this is going to bomb. No one will be buying it, or very few at least.

Of course it will bomb, chart wise. Doesn't matter how good it is, it doesn't have a chance of top 20 or possibly 30. Single placings are meaningless. What is important is how it is received, as a good reception will mean more people check out the album.

The higher a song ranks, the more exposure it receives, the more hype is spread, the more people will buy it and talk about it and enjoy it. Good reception isn't always enough as we discovered with later Oasis albums and DGSS. A lot of people cling to the charts to discover new music.

True, a high chart placing would only be a good thing in terms of exposure, but that just isn't gonna happen. I'd be surprised if it ranked as high as The Roller to be honest. It would be nice for them to hit the top 20, but I'd be beyond stunned if that happened. So it doesn't really matter whether it gets to #35 or #85, if people and critics like it, and it continues getting praise on programmes like FOTF did on Steve Lamacq's show, or tonight on Zane's, people will gradually take notice.

But I agree with what you say about the critics' praise for DGSS. That was short-lived however. Lasting critical (and fan) praise will more satisfactory for me as a fan, and I'm sure would be for Liam and the band, than the album going platinum but getting a lukewarm reception

I get an error when I click on play. Any kind soul who can rip it and upload it to a filehosting website? Thanks
