The management is awful, seriously. Allison is now blaming it on the leak of Flick, they've had over a week to re-arrange the plans, to make an announcement, etc, i think its just an excuse to say the early play ruined it. Zane himself said flick wasn't what he'd be playing today, another lie. the picture was uploaded to BE's official twitter stating we'd get tour dates today.... where are they?
Half arsed publicity as usual, this doesn't happen often with other bands. Looks like a messy road ahead like DGGS, doesn't matter how good the tunes are without the right management and push to the public, it goes nowhere and silly stunt mistakes like this leave fans disappointed.

The whole material launch has been a disaster. . .just like BTL and DGSS. I have no idea idea why Liam decides to stick to his promo team but something needs sorted as its appalling. Too scenarios: Band who see themselves as big pick one of the best songs on their album, announce a single air date on radio for their first play return. . .come back balls to the wall and with a bang and have everyone talking. ----- Then there's Liam's promotional group. . . who decide to pick an album track to play 3 weeks before a main single. . And it's first play is completely unanounced and unpromoted on an American radio station with stems randomly unlocking over the course of a week later. THEN instead of making up for it by playing the real lead single. . They hold off for two more weeks. Truly truly bizarre. If we weren't Beady Eye Fans (like most of the UK) and didn't go out of our way to scrap some material. . . I doubt we'd have even heard the single. Boo hoo hoo. My life can't go on, my growth is stunted, my emotional fortitude has been traumatically challenged. I know how you feel, my man... (Aside: What are ya doing just standing there like a bump on a log? Somebody give me a mop and some chlorine NOW!) |

Well if this is true, and the leak on that was on that American radiostation..., and ruined the whole marketing plan ... then why didn't the management come with some clear news? They could have known this was gonna happen, making their fans waiting for nothing is not the way to tread your customer. Weirdest of all... how the f* could that US radiostation have FOTF already in their hands, and have the ability to play it already? Common we life in 2013, are we still sending disks around the world to radiostations? With one click on a mouse, the management could send a mp3 file to all the radiostations in the world... on the supposed release date of FOTF.... Actually I´m going for this idea: the american radiostation really ruined it, the stems in the website were part of it: preparing people for the first listening with an 2 mins overture/intro to the song. And then Zane would play it for the first time completelly. |

There is no way flick was leaked early , that us station had permission to play it when it did. Songs will be digitally issued and encoded. There was no flick leak, just misinformation about the single airplay and lots of idiots pretending to know info. You can't say "oh the management had to change things" hours after saying zane would announce a tour, interview Liam and play the single. Just don't speculate when you are as clueless as everyone else

I don't rate anybody as a credible source anymore. |

i don't really understand how we got to this situation, i mean , the management knew FOTF had leaked , so why didn't just make an announcement about the single ?(we still don't have the OFFICIAL name of it)
this is the worst build up to an album we could have ever had.

About the Management... the less said about it's better (for them) What a pile of rubbish, the song was not leaked at all. The management knew to right the song had already been played yet a few days later started the website with the stems on. they will of known most people have already of heard the song so there was basically no point in them doing it. They dont even have a fully functioning website atm to post news or live dates! all what has happened is that dates have been send out to radio stations and as i have previously said the single has been delayed. the new dates etc had not been passed on well enough to everyone thats why there has been such a balls up simple! |

Maybe I'm wrong but they have slightly changed the background image on the official website. Before : a blurry image with a gradient of white on both sides (named 2_o.png) Now : the final image (the new image name is final.jpg) Just a guess but maybe final.jpg is the artwork they promised ? (which is disappointing) |

FOTF was obviously always meant to be the exclusive untill the American station leaked it. Radio 1 panicked and dropped the ball basically! thats what i BElieve. btw, promo was good.first the stems for a week and then new track on Monday as an exclusive, a pre taste for their new album. something went wrong i suppose but at least FOTF had a lot of attention at least for Beady Eye fans. everyone is around , trying to find out what's going on with the album and single.the momentum and anticipation is here and in a few days we are gonna finally have a brand new single. |
