"She said my breasts they will always be open Baby, you can rest your weary head on me And there will always be a space in my parking lot When you need a little coke and sympathy." * I dig songs about breasts and coke, lots of both preferably. Wat he said I love how i posted this twice by accident.....or was it? Definitely deserved a double post.

Led Zeppelin's fourth album is probably as close to perfection as you can get. Only 8 tracks, all classics, all still played on US radio. I can't say that about many albums. Plus kalas was a roadie for them on the "In Through The Outdoor" tour.

I've always enjoyed playing Rubber Soul and Revolver back to back. Two phenomenal albums with great production. I remember George Harrison saying he almost considers these to be part of the same album, like a volume 1 and 2. The Beatles were killing it creatively during this era (i guess all eras really). I agree that both are great albums, but for some reason I don't quite understand why some people say Rubber Soul is their best album. It has some of their best songs on that album for sure, but to me it seems like it has more filler on it than Revolver. Still a great album but idk, to me it feels like it has more filler songs than other Beatles albums. I disagree, Rubber Soul is one of my favourite Beatles album and IMO the songs are far from being filler. The entire first side is filled with classics as is the second half. On the contrary Revolver is again one of my favourites, I mean I love the album but overall the songs on Revolver aren't as consistent as they are on Rubber Soul. Revolver is great at the start and the middle too but towards the middle to end of the album for me at least it dips a bit then picks up again towards the end whereas Rubber Soul is great throughout. Different strokes I guess.

My only knock on Revolver is the song "Yellow Submarine". A very minor complaint though. Too childish for my tastes compared to the rest of the material on that LP.

If I had to choose I'd go with Led Zeppelin lV.
Plenty of other amazing albums though, ex. Velvet Underground & Nico, Dark Side of the Moon, Highway 61 Revisited, Pet Sounds, Revolver, Who's Next, The Stone Roses, Definitely Maybe, OK Computer, Loveless, etc. The list goes on..

I'd say The Queen Is Dead, if only because no other band ever really made a record anything like it. Or REM's Lifes Rich Pageant or DM or The Stone Roses or Revolver...really hard to compare those few that are 10/10 for me.

Just like I said to britishlove this morning ..it's all relative to your mindset at the time , everyone really who posted here and will post here do me a favor Right it down , put it in your ipad. Whatever. .i guarantee you the same lp you mentioned now 7 to 8 out of 10 will have a different one in 5 years and I don't mean a new lp that has come out either I mean a lp that you may have thought of and changed your mind and posted whatever you did ...when albums are as good as breaking down which one is best ..that's bullshit , it comes down to how you are feeling in the particular time you are asked the question , go head disagree with me now ... Do me a favor , right it down and look in 3 years let alone. 5. Just sayin

That's why the magazines are always changing every 10 years what are the top 100 albums of all time.

And britishlove I beg to differ on one point magazines do that but add new albums and songs to lists ,.. But if I say physical in 91 the wall in 81 and both were already made ...it's a bullshit answer I changed the lp did not ... Countdowns on radio and bullshit magazines always add new music to the fire , asking what's best and selecting lps that were made already is not like that , it's one s mood at that time. So that why I say you can't answer it ,

I just gave it. And write it down and look in 5 years if u picked a lp that was already made. Than u prove my point , if not than as lib says god bless And what I mean is if zep 2 isn't your favorite lp then but say zep 4 is you will have proven my point or any other album that has yet been made

Too many to name, but currently listening to Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon and Garfunkel. Fantastic album. Definitely one of my favorites The amazing songwriting from Paul Simon and vocal performances by the two is second to none. Those harmonies are heavenly! It would have to be in my top 5 records of all time, probably the most lush and beautiful album I've listened to. Songs like Bridge Over Troubled Water, The Boxer and Only Living Boy In New York never fail to move me.
