We all know noels known for cryptic and cool lyrics but can anyone help me out with deciphering these lyrics?
"Morning Glory 5:03 All your dreams are made When you're chained to (your) mirror with (your) razor blade Today's the day that all the world will see"
anyone else see the reference to their cocaine addiction, that they had at that time?

This is an obvious reference to cocaine. Cocaine is chopped up into a fine powder with razor blades and often snorted off them or mirrors. "Chained to" refers to the way cocaine takes ahold of you, having to do more and more to gain the same initial "high".

I never really though about the lyrics to MG, its a very good inuendo, could be something to do with having a shave.

Dude it's called Columbia because they were staying at the hotel Columbia when they thought of the tune. At least that's what Noel says on the DM DVD

..."you better get on yer knees and pray, panic it's on the way"... Classical, emotive, explicit and precise reference to Noel's coke adiction and its side efects, just continuing with the post .

("I know a girl called Elsa, she's in to Alkaselser, she sniffs it through a cain on a supersonic train..") This could be a drug refferance in my opinion, it could be about coke. We all know that Elsa was a dog that farted.

Gas Panic is all about Noel's panic attacks and come downs as a result of going cold turkey....This thread is stupid But Noel loved the coke. He said in an interview that the two biggest mistakes of his career were switching from Benson & Hedges to Marlborough, and stopping doing coke.

If his two mistakes haven't taken place the band would no longer exist.
