A lot of people say that NGHFB live are boring and it isn't true but a part for that...I think that live version of a lot of songs are better than the studio version EOTR is amazing with the choir and all those things, but live is epic,it's fucking mega! IIHAG and Dream on I think that are better live but I don't know why,TDOYAM maybe is better on the record cos the arrangement isn't easy,RM live is fucking rock n roll WAL has a difficult arrangement too,but live is amazing, and the TCT version was the best Broken Arrow live is more Rock n Roll,so is better SOTWB...I don't know ASGOG live seems faster than the record version and this is a good thing, another RNR song AOTR like SOTWB I don't know but live was brillant! I've said that, bye!

I agree that he's better live than people give him credit for. I think Noel has gotten a lot better as he settled into the new material and the new band.
I saw him early November in Toronto then a year later on the coheadline with Snow Patrol in Calgary. He was much better the second time around.
WAL is one that sounded way better on record in the beginning it's a lot better now but I think I still enjoy it best on record. It's pretty hard to sing live I think...although Noel is way better on this than he was I think he still struggles with this one live particularly Broken Arrow I really love on record. Sometimes it's my favorite song on the album but I really enjoyed it live too. If I had to choose I'd pick the record version with the haunting saw though. I think it has amazing atmosphere I prefer Dream On, SOTWB, ASGOG, and RM live. IIHAG struggled in the beginning until Noel settled into it and Russell worked out his backing vocals. Now I prefer it live. Hoping that he strips it down a bit like he does DLBIA sometime in the future. I think all his acoustic versions were towards the beginning...i'd like to hear one now that he's lived with the song awhile. Noel always gets better with time IMO Everybody's on the Run I struggle with. It's amazing both ways. I love the massive arrangement on record but Mike Rowe really shines when he plays it live. It's high praise indeed for me to asy I love the live version as much as the album version. I prefer LTLSALOM on record. I'm not keen on the solo and they always have it too low in the mix anyways. TDOYAM I prefer on record.
I really enjoyed all my HFB experiences. Can't wait until he's out there again. I'd definitely take another trip to see him.

Boring live? no... Noel Gallagher could never be boring live with all the great songs he's written but HFB should be a lot better than they are imo.... The drummer and guitarist are very mediocre and opening with (It's Good) To Be Free?... That is why people think they're boring.... I wouldn't call stuff like Record Machine and Broken Arrow "rock and roll" but Freaky Teeth, definitely, great little tune and it's nice to see Noel push it for once and really give it some, more of that would keep me more entertained and less of Talk Tonight and (It's Good) To Be Free

Broken Arrow is RNR like Coldplay,I mean that live is more rock than in the studio, not that is Morning Glory Record Machine live without the choir and all those things is definitely Rock and roll, especially during the guitar solo and after that Freaky Teeth is really good and Noel seems to enjoy that

It's Good To Be Free definitely needs to go. the opener for the last 7 (?!?) years of Noel's solo gigs? It was never that much of a classic to begin with.
The band are excellent, I hope they stick around for the next tour.

Both gigs I went to were immense but the only songs I would say were 'better' live would be Freaky Teeth and Let The Lord...
Freaky Teeth doesn't really count as we've only heard a demo. On the other hand let The Lord was probably the highlight of the Liverpool gig. I was fucking blown away.

I prefer the live version of EOTR because Mike Rowe's contributions are terrific. Dream On is another one that's improved a lot. It's a lot more nuanced, textured, and I really hope it stays in the set. WAL improved tremendously throughout the tour. Clunky and noisy at first, its stellar now. Do you think we'll ever hear STC live? I truly hope so.

It's already in the past, Noel doesn't like it, and by next tour there'll be 12-15 new tunes that he can chose from instead that he'll actually like plus all the old Oasis/HFB tracks. It's not my bag really though. The calamity at the end saves it for me but I doubt the live version would match that.

Oasis live was always better than their amazing studio albums, and Noel has continued that tradition. Oasis were fantastic live, and so is Noel.
Sardy fucked up with the production, that's for damn sure.
