Won't it be a bit odd to see Gem playing along as Liam vents his splean about one of his best mates? Presumably Gem played on it in the studio, so does that amount to an endorsement of Liam's words about Noel?

Nah I don't think so. What Liam writes comes from Liam and nobody else. Anyway, I always thought that Liam's most personal tunes are all about Noel - Guess God Thinks Im Abel, I'm Outta Time, Morning Son - I think this is just the first one in which he admits its about Noel.
Looking forward to the tune. I think Liam's a terrible writer for rockers, but his slow numbers are very lush and melodic and simply his best work (apart from Little James).
Let's just hope Don't Brother Me's sound is all Beatlefied.

Liam reckons it's full of love so if that's the case I don't see what the issue would be.

Liam's did stuff on the DGSS tour like "I can't be bought and sold-UNLIKE SOME PEOPLE" on Beatles and Stones and "The battle's on and Noel's a liar" or something like that on Four Letter Word, obvious digs at Noel, Gem and the rest of the lads'll be used to it by now I reckon

^^I don't think anyone was a friend of Paul's at that time I always felt John, George and Ringo were all really tight between 1970 and 1980. They all played on one another's solo records, hung out together and John even lived with Ringo out in Los Angles for a few months during Lennon's "lost weekend" phase of 1973-74. Harry Nilsson and Keith Moon were also staying there at that time. Imagine the trouble the 4 of those guys got into nightly? Good thing there was no YouTube or twitter. It wasn't until Lennon's death that they all sorted their issues out and made up with Paul. That's at least how I view it.

God bless.

It seemed nobody wanted to be a Beatle anymore except Paul after 1967. - Ringo quits for a few days while recording The White Album during the summer of 1968. - George quits during recording sessions for Let It Be in January 1969 after a fight with Paul. - John announces that he is leaving the Beatles in the fall/winter of 1969 but was urged by Allen Klein and Paul not to say anything for legal purposes at the time. - April 1970...........Paul QUITS, John/George/Ringo breathe a sigh of relief and freedom.

God bless. Yeah, it still blows my mind how people still speculate as to why the Beatles broke up. It was mostly this: they were sick of being in the same band together, Paul became to much of a leader and a control freak, and Yoko. That's really it, right?

There's photos of John and Ringo, John and Paul, and Paul and Ringo all hanging out at the beach house but no photo with all three of them. Then of course there's the infamous 1974 studio jam session between Paul and John... lots of stuff being smoked that night judging by the tapes.

Agreed! And anyway, I don't think Gem is exactly taking sides, is he? He's maintained his friendship with Noel, while remaining in a band with Liam. He's been aware presumably since he heard of Oasis that the pair them have fights, and I'm sure he realises it's best to stay out of it.

Wait, how is GGTIA about Noel? So they had an incestuous homosexual relationship? What? Definitely... According to Noel (around 2002) "It is illegal in some countries , but while you are on the road it is fine."
