How many songs do you think BE will include in their setlist? Are there limits due to needing Liam's voice to hold up for the entire tour?
The DGSS tour's sets seemed to last about an hour, with 13 or 14 songs, while NGHFB played 20 songs, for about 90-100 minutes. Part of this probably was due to Noel playing old Oasis tunes and BE only playing new stuff at least initially and only having one album plus b-sides to choose from.
Oasis had 90-100 minute sets consistently but there was always a Noel-sung portion where Liam was given a rest. Even in Kasabian, which has 19-20 songs in their set, Tom doesn't sing every song, he gets a break when Serge handles lead vocals on a couple of songs.
But how long of a set can we expect from the Beady Eye boys this time around since Liam is the only lead vocalist?

75-80 mins I'd say.
I really enjoyed seeing them live. They played all of their songs apart from Wind Up Dream, which is pretty cool for a new band. Though I would have loved to hear WUD.

Thing is Liam's voice didn't hold up well even with Noel singing a good proportion of the set. I don't think keeping the setlist short will help that much anyway. Does Liam still not bother doing soundchecks? If he could warm up before the gig and get the sound right so he can sing rather than shout then it might help him sound more consistent for the whole tour.

I seem to remember hearing that he wasn't doing all the soundchecks towards the end. But he definitely did a lot more with BDI than with Oasis. He seemed to do bascially all of them for the first little while. I think his voice also struggled a bit more towards the end of the tour. Not sure whether the struggle with his voice was the reason for less soundchecking or whether the he struggled because he did less soundchecking. Personally I don't think they should extend the length by too much. Maybe 75 minutes? I generally like sets to be around 90 minutes long...but I think Liam would struggle with that night after night

He is not old ..I mean Steven Tyler did more drugs and drank more booze than anyone and his chops are fine ..90 minutes and needing Noel to me was always a bother His voice is great the best for me but it shouldn't be so fragile ..he does not wail. I know he gives it his all but I never got this ...he Should not have this problem this early IMO. And the fact that affects set length sux I for one can't agree I find90 minutes way to short ...I much prefer 2 plus hours like a show should be especially at these prices But even if not a proper show IMO should be 2 hours with a catalouge that includes oasis , covers , and bdi Just sayin ..... Don't forget gdforever he tours once every 2 or 3 years I want more than 90 mins

But Liam struggled to maitain 60 minutes a night for 8 months. Maybe the solution for a longer set is fewer shows with more time in between though. BDI definitely didn't need to do as many gigs as they did. Particularly in the UK.

He should not have these issues of throat problems so early in career and I do think its early. I love his voice don't love his fragility ...thought? Edit : sorry for the tags. Just learned last week. Makin up for lost time

Just learned last week. Makin up for lost time I ws gonna say "You love a tag don't you?" As for his voice. I don't think there is really any one reason. I think he doesn't take care of it. He uses drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes. I don't think he goes out of his way to rest it between gigs or concentrates a lot on warming it up well before a gig As for the arguement about some of the other artists with the same # of years under there belt...it reminds of all those people that defend their lifestyle choices by bringing up that grandparent or someone that lived until they were 102 despite the fact that they smoked or drank or whatever. And I just look at them laying in their beds gasping for breath on their oxygen or florescent yellow with liver failure and think, "well unfortunately you weren't that lucky and it's not going to turn out the same way for you. I've met 70 year old alcoholics with functional livers and 40 year old alcoholics with wrecked livers. Sometimes it's luck of the genetic draw IMO. But then I also think he uses it pretty hard though. I think he sings from the throat which I think fatigues it quicker than it otherwise would. Why do you think?

But then I also think he uses it pretty hard though. I think he sings from the throat which I think fatigues it quicker than it otherwise would. Why do you think? First yea sorry never knew how to ....tag like a kid now ill try to cut down I think what your saying is spot on especially the analogy with the liver .... As someone in his 40 s with a drinking history that would make.. keith, Tyler , and Liam , proud ..( not proud of it just the truth ) I know cats that can't drink anymore and I have a uncle who is 80 and still drinks jack every day ..I only recently stopped drinking. And you are spot on , I am lucky knock wood ..my doc said my liver is perfect and he knows me from NYC and knows how much I drank for 30 years as he was also my neighbor ...yet a buddy of mine who never drank as much is having a liver issue , so you are dead right there is no way of knowing .. He does sing very violent this is true , maybe it is luck of draw like you said ....it's actually the best answer I have heard to date , so to add would be redundant of me ...well said I guess that is the main reason , no tag Side note. As u said just to magnify your point Like as u say smoking my mom 76 smoking since she is 13 and many of those years no filter camels or kent lungs pink My buddy 43 just diagnosed early stages of emphysema ...so there ya go DNA ....: Well put there by the way !
