Today at work some lady was playing Neil Diamond's new album called 12 Songs. Track 6 (Delirious Love) starts playing, and the opening is an exact rip from Lyla.
Maybe Neil is a fan of Noel?

It's hard to believe that he stole it. I mean he's probably had that song writen before they released Lyla. If he did it's gotta be a complement to Oasis and can't be taken any other way. Pure respect from a solid early rocker.

has to be said though, oasis stole Lyla from a soundtrack of our lives song called confrontation camp. (Noel said so himself, and he ain't kidding). great song, too.

Rick Rubin produced Neil Diamond's latest album. So he may have a had in swiping Lyla.
