Very interesting! At the bottom of the page it says
"POST TO UNLOCK MORE MUSIC"
A bar at the bottom center, can "Download Stem 1", its 2 minutes long, instrumental, theres 6 slots in all.
edit: I've linked my twitter and it leads to a page that says:
"THANKS FOR TAKING PART - KEEPING CHECKING BACK TO SEE WHAT GETS UNLOCKED NEXT."

Thanks for posting!! Yeah, I just did this as well, linking to my Facebook. I really like that instrumental and have downloaded it already. It's official--I'm excited. The build-up to this album!!

I agree, this sounds very different to anything they've done before. This little 2 min clip sounds like it could be the prelude to an epic song, or maybe just a pure instrumental track on the album. I'm liking it It does sound "spacey" actually, like what Liam's been saying.

I think in the past Oasis have dabbled more in psychedelic rock (especially Standing on the Shoulder of Giants and like you said, Dig Out Your Soul) with the more "druggy" sounds. But this clip sounds more sci-fi, more "space rock" and ambient. It'll be interesting to see if there's more of this sound in the rest of the album.

Just thought I'd share my previous post from the other thread here as the site appears to be acting up, for me at least, the instrumental sometimes doesn't play or the page doesn't load up. I was going to make a thread but I couldn't be bothered Very exciting though!!

That's exactly what I did but it unlocked just the first slot. Can't wait to listen to the other ones.

Same, very excited to hear the other clips now. As I was saying in the other BE website thread, this could be a prelude to an epic song or just a pure instrumental track on the album. It sounds "spacey" like Liam said--it gives me a sci-fi vibe, very ambient. It'll be interesting to see if the rest of clips/songs incorporate this kind of sound.

Haha I love this term "space rock" makes a change to pub rock I suppose - sounds very out there.
I can't post at the moment due to me being in work and I can't even listen to that clip either but gives me something to look forward to later.
When I 1st heard FOTF yesterday had to admit I felt a Buzz I haven't done for a long time, It was like a cross betweeen Lyla and The Shock of the Lightning (certainly the first 40 seconds)

Hate to be negative, but i played that 'stem 1' next to Flick Of the Finger and it's pretty much the same thing. In fact i'm sure it's basically a track with the drumbeat and some of the synths from the song, so it doesn't sound like it'll let us have a new song soon :/ Hopefully i'm wrong though

Yes, it sounds like a backing track for FOTF. Let's hope this time the instrumental version of the album comes out. It didn't surface for DGSS.

Obviously noel did the same with the strings from EOTR on his website

This is good news. They need to get the official hype going & things are clearly moving on. As I said in a previous post, I am keeping my Beady Eye on the website

Good spot You're right, the beat is the same pace. It's just more muted here and the synths are higher in the mix. This would certainly explain the name "stem 1." Amazing how it sounds so different and with such a different atmosphere (to me, anyway). Must be the lack of horns, which obviously gave the song the jazzy, big band sound.
