The Beatles are undoubtedly #1. Michael Jackson is almost certainly #2 and Elvis probably #3.
What order would live4ever members rank acts in terms of worldwide fame . Who would you rate 1-10?

I thought I read that Gone With The Wind sold the most movie tickets of all-time. That's gotta count for something right? Loads of entertainment for 1939 Americans.

Elvis didnt have the chance to perform outside the US. Jackson played worldwide tours his entire career, Thriller is the biggest album of all time and think about all the bad publicity that went with him. Jackson overtook Elvis, albeit in-part for the wrong reasons, but he definity has.

Yes. It is a shade under 4 hours I believe. Long movie. Ouch. No way mate. Your opinion??? Victor Fleming actually directed both Wizard of Oz and Gone With The Wind in the same calendar year, 1939. Two power houses.

I don't know the order, but I think the Beatles,Jackson,Elvis, the Stones,Bob Dylan,Led Zeppelin,Pink Floyd,Queen, and maybe people like Madonna or Elton John...they are the people who everybody knows Exactly and I may be older but any list of " acts has to include Sinatra if you take it away from just rock and add whacko and Madonna . That's the problem with this , there is no parameter was it a your opinion top 10 ? Rock top 10 ? Everything top 10 ? Ya know ? What is the definition of act ? Concerts only ? Radio play ? Number 1s? Lp sales ? Or is all combined ? Then it's easy just google top 10 acts worldwide for those categories and thread over .. Simple ...Beatles would have a tough time if you count concerts cause they stopped playing live so early ...so to just say Beatles ....then live performances cannot be included ...it's a no win thread ...Beatles are most popular band ever ...most well known , most played but add concert attendance which is a big part of being a act then the game changes a bit cause they will lack way behind in concert numbers when compared to zep , stones, Sinatra , it's a question that is so subjective the answer is hard to agree on .. If you want to say most successful act and use combined sales , attendance , radio play , lp sales , I suspect it will show up Beatles , zep , whacko , but who knows maybe a pop act like abba ?? would crash the party you gotta google if you really want to know the answer to this factually I'm sure it's there they got everything else

And then there's Coldplay, and Radiohead. The red hot chili peppers. And the beastie boys. I have no idea...not even thinking of all the pop stars and the Barbra streisands and Celine Dions.
