hey, i recentlt attended the cleveland ohio oasis gig, whereupon between the jet and oasis set, when the rhodies were settin' up the oasis stage, the soundmachine was playing the beatles "help" - yet this was a semi-acoustic version with a different pace...anyone knows who sings this/ wehere i can get it/download it?..thanx

it might be the version noel done of help a few times live no, no, it wasnt live, it was studio...anyone have any insight or even hear it at any other oasis events, rember, it was playing on a soundboard while the rodies were setting up the oasis stage....

they did let it be as soon as the gig ended in columbia, i really liked that
but yeah, between a few different shows i have heard helter skelter, tomorrow never knows and some other beatles classics a few times, also some doors too...good shit to listen to

Help! track by The Beatles performed by Claire Martin acoustic guitar by Noel released on CD album 'Take My Heart' in February 1999 on Linn
Have not heard Claire's version but I'm guessing this is what you heard. I imagine since Noel is the guest guitarist on the track it sounds exactly as he used to do it on the 1998 Be Here Now tour (i.e. a beautiful slowed down version that is stirring and passionate.)

I'm not too sure of what they played at Philly, when the stage crew was up the started playing on some of the instruments and they got a pretty good groove going

I remember the Help! at Cleveland. From what I can recall sounded kind of folk rock like. I have no idea what to suggest - maybe check amazon and try to listen to different versions. It was a cool version though - it wasnt immediately obvious that it was actually help
