yep, he probably begged to open for snow patrol and rhcp.... how old are you to believe the rubbish you wrote?
listen, here's how it works: he gets booked through his management, they tell him where he was booked and he goes off and does his thing on stage. he gets his money and is fine with it. he's not picking like "oh, i've been to new york way too often, can't be arsed to go there. i'd rather do a gig in l.a.." "oh, sorry noel, of course we will scrap that ny-gig and book a venue in los angeles."
you should get rid of the idea of noel gallagher being the most independent, rebellious artist in the world who only does what he wants, cos he's certainly not. nowadays he's your compatible rock star in his mid 40ies going solo. and what else would be his motivation than to make shitloads of money? i don't deny that in his early days part of his motivation was money, too. but it came with other things and wasn't his primary objective.

I just said he does what he wants. and that's a fact. and he's always been on the road and making records. thats all he's done for the past 20 years. thats what he does. he didnt come up with the Flying Birds thing because he needed the money. he just wanted to do what he loves the most. and what is better than doing so and get shitload of money? good for him. what a fantastic ignorant vagina you are. we don't get many like you, I tell you. life might get better someday. just accept the fact that there are happy people out there. you'll feel better.

I'm more inclined to agree with Mouth to be honest. It isn't a criticism of Noel, I just think it's a bit naive to think that Noel has much of a say in where he's booked. Other than one offs and festivals, obviously.
