heres the update floating around sony, waiting to be posted.....
BOY WITH THE BLUES NEW SINGLE
30 November 2005
As previously mentioned by Noel, 'Boy With the Blues' is set to become the next Oasis single. The track, written and sung by Laim, will be the band's second stand-alone single and the first new material since the recently released 'Let There Be Love'.
The single is released on CD, DVD and 10” vinyl on 30th January 2006 on Big Brother Recordings. The CD and 10” will feature a brand new Liam penned track entitled ‘Show Me Your Love’ which was produced by Dave Sardy. Also included is a new version of the 1995 classic 'Talk Tonight' produced by Noel and Dave Sardy.

you know what's really weird about this? that it says it's floating around sony and the boys deal with sony has now expired and I seriously doubt they'll resign with 'em. The Boy With The Blues shouldn't be released under sony.... sounds like bullshit to me

that sort of thing just dosent happen, if a band have a great album they put out 4 songs,noel has already said that mucky fingers might be the 4th single,looks like someone has got the let there be love release format ie cd/dvd/10 inch etc and made up a few song titles of their own. if oasis done this it would be crazy why not put this out in the summer to spread it out a bit then come back next year with a new album? p.s still dont believe the first post.

Not to cast aspersions but I think I smell a rat, really.
Plus I hope if it does happen they don't re-release Talk Tonight as one of the B-sides - what a waste of time! How would a new version be any good to anybody?
Unless maybe Liam sings it whilst banging his bollocks on a snare dram throughout for percussion, it would have zero originality value and be a pointless release (and a rip off for the fans as well, especially as we are getting only one new song - and a crappy, 2 minute, pointless one as well - on the LTBL single).

More fucking bollocks. Doesn't anyone remember the fake LTBL press release? Look at this 'statement': "30 November", "Laim". You don't release a press statement about a new single when the previous single is still a month away from release.

noel said it depended on whether they had time to go into the studio or not. right now they are touring and they couldn't be arsed. they do have some free time in november before flying over to Aussie.... but I think they will use that time for resting a bit. plus this so called update said it was produced by Sardy and that would mean he would have to go to England, and it would mean it is already recorded, produced and mastered which I seriously doubt
