i've got arizona winning the whole thing. ha!  i lived out there for a bit in the late 80's so i know all too well what that rivalry is like. i guess i am biased but i really do think they have a shot to take down kentucky. but for it to happen they will need to play a perfect game, and kentucky at the same time will need to have an off night. we will see. |

Izzo is always a boss come this team.
Duke is looking really strong. I love this Duke team. Cook is a all heart senior who can stroke it, Jones is poised and always takes over when the team needs it. Winslow is a beast and will probably be an all star one day and Oakfor's foot work, back to the basket, and up-front facing offensive game are all truly elite.
Don't really mind this UK team. Still dislike those punkass twins though. Like Towns' game. Still hope they lose.
Props to all my hometown "the triangle" teams making it (UNC, Duke, and NC State). State is battle tested and my one good pick on my bracket is them beating Nova, who I never really bought into. Also ACC is the best conference. Virginia stumbled (and almost got upset my alma mater Belmont in the first round) and I know the PAC is doing well but really having 5 of the 16 teams left is impressive.
Love march madness probably my favorite sporting time of the year. Unpredictable, crazy, and just seeing magical stuff like what happened with Georgia State is the reason why its just so magical. The NBA game is better and the playoffs are intense but there's just nothing like insaneness of college hoops in march.

This is the first college game I've watched all year. I dont know how anyone prefers this to the NBA the season is a lot shorter, so each individual game has more urgency. also in this tournament it is single game elimination as opposed to a 5 or 7 game series, which means on any given night, team x could beat team y. in addition to all that, you have to realize that a lot of these guys won't ever play competitive organized basketball ever again, so many of them are playing for their careers, especially when it comes to tournament time. the irish better knock this team out NOW. they don't want this game to go to OT. |
