Copy from Facebook:
Noel speaks about some new songs and his concert in Dubai: "think there’s… six – or seven – yes, six or seven, that’s correct. But it’s not the ones you would imagine, if you’re not an Oasis connoisseur, oh dear. I’ll do ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’, I mean who wouldn’t? But it’s mainly my High Flying Birds stuff, a couple of new songs, and some obscure Oasis B-sides."

Good to hear. Glad he's trying some new things with the setlists.

Im not sure its new new, or just something he haven't played before... and i really hope that by "obscure Oasis b-sides" he doesn't mean Its Good To Be Free and Half Of The World Away which have been way over played in the last years

I would be shocked if he played anything that is any "newer" than High Flying Birds. He'll probably drop Idler's Dream and Angel Child to fill the "obscure b-sides" role. Noel doesn't usually just change up everything you know. But then again, maybe he figures no one will be watching him in Dubai.

It's Good To Be Free 2. Everybody's On The Run 3. Dream On 4. If I Had A Gun 5. The Death of You and Me 6. Freaky Teeth 7. Supersonic 8. Record Machine 9. What A Life! 10. Talk Tonight 11. Broken Arrow 12. Half The World Away 13. Stranded On The Wrong Beach Encore 14. Whatever 15. Little By Little 16. Don't Look Back In Anger Noel fears change.

I could see Noel doing a couple of songs (that is, rare b-sides like Just Getting Older or something). This is just before the TCT gig. If he was going to trot out a couple of songs, I could see him testing them here and then performing the same setlist for TCT.

The interview says this is a warm up gig for TCT

Thanks for the link! It was a very good read. I love the comments on the Muse guy smoking a electric cigarette. How typical! I wonder why the interviewer didn't ask if Noel would be performing with Damon/Graham at the TCT this month, forget the Brits 12 months from now. Neil Young really is the godfather of rock. I've heard him give sage advice to Pearl Jam, Thom Yorke, Billy Corgan and now Noel Gallagher. The guy knows how to be his own artist for sure. God bless.

I'm starting to believe he may play a couple new songs, just the way he listed it off: "But it’s mainly my High Flying Birds stuff, a couple of new songs, and some obscure Oasis B-sides." If the couple of new songs were obscure Oasis B-sides, wouldn't he have just said, "I'm playing a few other obscure Oasis b-sides too". I just find it interesting that he listed the couple of new songs separately rather than either lumping them in with either the High Flying Birds material or the Oasis material. Instead, he separately made a point to say a couple new songs. Hmmm, could be interesting. Maybe two songs for a TCT EP?

Maybe they will be 2 of the 4 leaked tunes.
He'll obv know they are out there so why not give them a live run out

I truly detest being skeptical, but it occurred to me that Noel has made similar comments in the past with regards to playing obscure b-sides, only to find that he wound up playing "Half the World Away" and/or "It's Good to Be Free" - which are top songs mind you, but do not fit the bill of being "obscure" (at least to Oasis fans).
Being that so, my guess is that he will perform a rendition of "D'Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman" (just as he has played recently, such as at the iTunes festival).

I have a feeling both the new songs will be from the demos that were leaked recently.

"The period between Standing On The Shoulders of Giants and Heathen Chemistry - there's about half a dozen songs that even thinking about it makes me cringe." - Noel Gallagher, March 2013.
Wow.

He usually does something unique for his TCT gigs. Be it an old tune or a cover.
2007 All You Need is Love Butterfly Collector Don't Go Away Sad Song There's a light that never goes out.
He'd never done any of those covers before I don't think. Sad Song hadn't been played since 1997. Don't Go Away had only been played once since 1997.
2010 Don't Go Away Sad Song Rocking Chair Digsy's Dinner
Don't Go Away and Sad Song are repeats from the previous year but it the only times either have been aired. Rocking Chair was played for only the 3rd and 4th times. Digsy's Dinner hadn't been played since 1995.
The chances are pretty good he'll be doing something with Damon and Graham. That may fill his general quota for something unique. Possible Angel Child or Idlers Dream or I Wanna Be a Spaceman will appear but I think those are still novel enough I won't complain. Particularly Idlers Dream (which we don't have a professional recording of)
Personally I am super jealous of anyone that is going to be there. One way or another you are going to get a really unique experience. There will be SOMETHING that happens there that the rest of us will likely never get to see. Particularly if it involves Damon and Graham.

Would they be any good? Two of them would. Two of them would be just really good – the other two would be [very] brilliant. mmh...

The interview says this is a warm up gig for TCT I guess he is using it pretty much the same way he used Moscow in 2007
