Alone on a rope was just as boring as the recorded version... Yet it still sounds enough like a shit Radiohead for pretentious nobheads like Matt to pretend to like it in order to try and take the intellectual high ground over people on here that they see as beneath them. Because I don't like a band you like I automatically like two shit bands? Very mature and reasoned point. Blur are only a slight step up from The Enemy and Brother. Are you still living in the 90s? If Noel wrote songs like The Universal or Under The Westway, you'd love it. Get real, you don't like to have Blur, but to not realise that they have done quality albums is the height of ignorance. I like yourself used to dislike them on the basis of Girls and Boys and Country House (which are still poor poor tracks) but I listened to their albums and there's quality songwriting there. No band deserves to ever be thrown in with the likes of The Enemy or Brother - these guys have less talent than One Direction. It's nothing to do with the 90s or them having a 'rivalry' with Oasis, as if I give a shit. It's because they are shit and Damon is a pretentious prick, probably why you like him so much. Under the Westway and The Universal are awful pseudo-anthems which wouldn't sound out of place on a Coldplay album. |

I like Alone on a Rope but fucking hate radiohead, and when you have Noel singing then to me it's fuck all like radiohead. Although i do sort of agree with you in a strange sort of way!    |

If some guy says he's mixing it tomorrow, that implies a release. Really hope you're right - I'd have no problem paying full whack for a live album - but it could just be for broadcast as well, previous years shows have had bits broadcast on the tv and radio. |
