I wrote TCT on Facebook expressing my desire for an official release of this show. I figure it won't make much of a difference but if they get enough feedback who knows what might happen. I figured it couldn't hurt. This is actually a very good idea. It takes no time at all to do and if they get enough feedback, it definitely could push a release. Many things have gotten released due to a groundswell of interest. Its unquestionable that it was recorded, and I could totally see them doing an iTunes only or similar something with enough feedback.

That is a fantastic setlist. Massive thanks to everyone who brought us information and video of last night's gig. I wrote TCT on Facebook expressing my desire for an official release of this show. I figure it won't make much of a difference but if they get enough feedback who knows what might happen. I figured it couldn't hurt. Yes, I agree, and with ooooooo and bluemagpie as well. Maybe if more of us did the same thing, it would get their attention. Of course, it might not amount to anything. But it's worth a shot. I also found this additional pic of the setlist, which includes the guitar info: Noel Gallagher's set list from last night... Did anyone go and what did you think of the gig?? pic.twitter.com/zcNNIV5Xep

Yep, that's me! We're sandwiched between Noel and Tom... Them two should feel lucky! I wrote TCT on Facebook expressing my desire for an official release of this show. They should just release every performance digitally, and earn loads of money for charity... I mean, if they couldn't be fucked to mix it, I'd be happy just with what they've got now... Want performances from Kasabian, Noel, Blur(ish), Labrinth and Rizzle Kicks!!!!

I was at the Royal Albert Hall for Kasabian and Noel. Wow ! Fantastic venue, perfect gig, wonderful setlist. The Blur part was...... strange, and really short (even if the new "song" was tooooooo long and awful !) Paul Weller looked so tired (ill ? drunk ?). But I don't mind as Tender was great. The NGHFB were solid as someone mentionned before. Tim Smith seemed to enjoy the setlist too. Among the five gigs I have seen, I think that was the best (even better than the Shepherd Bush Empire). The : Tender / EOTR / Fade Away / Freaky Teeth / Wonderwall+Supersonic / Lord don't slow me down !!!!! / A simple game of genius / Digsy's Dinner and of course DLBIA The : the "new song" of Blur and the strangest man in the world / Alone on the rope (sorry... I think this song is a bit weird, I prefer up tempo songs, but I'm pleased he did it for the first time) I am uploading some videos, here is the first one : Dream On ! More to come : Fade Away, Freaky Teeth, A simple game of genius, Digsy's Dinner

I never thought that highly of SIOL but its bloody beautiful live, Digsy's was really good to although I could sort of hear Liam singing in my head as I was watching it. And someone please tell me why the shit A Simple Game of Genius wasn't on the album?

Thanks everyone for your post-gig reports and videos! From what I read/heard, the Blur bit was specifically just for TCT--a one-off essentially. Didn't Noel say in the introduction (there's a video on this thread a couple pages back) that Damon and Graham had composed some music just for this occasion, to accompany Horovitz, and it was never going to be performed again? I do think it was funny how Noel told the audience to, "Sit down, open your minds, and shut the fuck up." I agree about Shout It Out Loud live. Same with A Simple Game of Genius--the more I hear that song, the more I like it. And live it's even better!

I really hope TCT release this, even if its just a single of Tender. Didn't "The Dreams We Have As Children" get to number 1 on iTunes when they released that a few years ago, it must have raised them loads. Hopefully this would again.
On a side note, it's interesting that Noel is using a Tele again. When I saw him at Nottingham towards the end of the UK leg of the tour he was only using the Martin acoustic and the Gibson ES-345 and 455. In this set he was using his Gibson J-200 again, the Martin acoustic, a Tele and the Gibson semi hollow bodies. Does anyone know how long he's been using this wider range of guitar?

Noel isnt a great frontman but he doesnt need to be really the songs speak for themselves... And yes Noel is a great singer, total repect for him still sounding great in his mid-forties
