The Help - saw it with the misses last night, and actually really enjoyed it.

Didn't actually just watch it, but it needs a mention:
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Now that's an excellent movie. I have yet to meet anyone who does not like that film

It really was. I laugh through the whole thing. And walked out of the theater smiling with tons of, "I love when..." conversations going on within my group. Always a good thing with a comedy. But I am a woman...and Ryan Gosling did take his shirt off several times which was also a high point. Probably won't be for you...otherwise...your poor girlfriend!

The Grudge 2
Utter shite, easily the worst film I've seen since Deep Impact.

Very good movie. I would definitely recommend people go see this when it comes out in 3 weeks. Even if you're not a fan of baseball, you can still enjoy this movie. Some great comedic moments, and great acting with Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill. Only thing I wished could be different, is the screen time of Philip Seymour Hoffman. Wish he'd gotten more. I feet like he was good, and yet I feel like he didn't get enough time to make an impression. Oh, well. Still a very good watch.

Pirates of Caribbean 4 Very mediocre, which is a shame cos I enjoyed the first 3 Johnny Depp's been on a bit of a losing streak lately. Public Enemies, The Tourist, Rango, Pirates of the Caribbean 4. Only one was really bad (Pirates of the Caribbean 4), but the rest have only been okay. The only recent movie by him that I have thoroughly enjoyed was Alice In Wonderland. I don't know, hopefully he can turn around with Rum Diary. I've been waiting for that movie for about two years now. Thankfully the wait will over in October.

I think he's one of the most talented actors in the business, and it's about time he would get an oscar. Maybe with the Rum Diary he will, here's hope.

Saw it a few days ago at a special screening. I believe it's out today. Anyways, it's a really good movie. I had low expectations for it, and was pleasantly surprised. It's basically every great fighting movie rolled into one.

The Grudge 2 Utter shite, easily the worst film I've seen since Deep Impact. Japanese one was a lot better. Anyways, Ca$h from 2010, Chris Hemsworth went from THIS to Thor? Geez.
