Top of the Lake season 1. I rewatched this brilliant series for the third time. Acting, story, scenery and everything else is just top notch. Elizabeth Moss is great in her leading role and so are the other actors/actresses too. Next to rewatch is season 2. I'm not a massive fan of it to be honest, I watched season one for the first time recently and thought that it was quite good but season two I couldn't get into it I'm afraid so I gave up on it. I think it's a series that divides people, some love it and some don't get into it very much at all. I know the feeling giving up on a TV show after a couple of episodes. It happens to me quite often too.

Yeah, you could be right there and you're right about some programmes I love a good murder mystery but some of them I just can't get into them at all and give up on them.

Mia Madre
God bless random Acquaroli appearances when not main. This one, he tells a director his vision and makes me smile doing it. A great performance of the actress as mother as well, robbed of the Oscar I think

I don't listen to the foreign langue but if you can get past the subtitles some of them can be really good and I enjoy some of them better than the English ones.

I think the Killing, the Danish series was very good. Also the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo movies (especially the first movie)(Swedish) were excellent.

I have The Killing boxed set on DVD which I bought ages ago and there's an American version available on streaming sites Disney + and Channel 4. I watched season one of the American one but it's not as good as the original one.

Yeah, I totally agree with you and I think that some of them can be rubbish compaired to the original as well.

Oasis Knebworth 1996. Nostalgia...and it's a great film capturing the massive event. Also, not a single feckin phone in the crowd \o/

Rizzoli & Isles on Amazon Prime, I watched the first two seasons which I quite enjoyed and I'm five episodes in of season three. There's six seasons all together so it's taking me a while to get through them all. I'm still watching this and I'm now half way through season 5 so I have one more season to watch after this one.

I didn't realize that there's actually seven seasons and not six of Rizzoli & Isles, I'm nearly half way through season six now so it won't be long before I finish it as there's only thirteen episodes in the final season.

The Town. I've seen this gripping thriller a few times. Ben Affleck did a great job at directing and acting.
Whiplash. I rewatched it yesterday after a few years. This is the best music related movie that I've seen. It's not easy to be a jazz drummer. Brilliant drama and great acting.

Wrong actor to play The Surgeon imho, the actor who played the evil Frank on Criminal Minds had the Surgeon written all over him.

I'm halfway through the first season of From on Netflix and I'm not sure whether I like it or not. I keep getting distracted and find it really hard to pay attention for some reason.
