Detective Forst on Netflix which I finished last night it was quite good but the ending was stupid. Now I'm watching Big Little Lies on Sky Atlantic via Now TV. I meant to watch it ages ago but never got round to it.

I enjoyed both seasons of Big Little Lies ( I finished it last night). Then I watched the first episode of Arctic Circle season 2. The first season last year was really good.

If they do another season of Arctic Circle then I hope that it'll be better than the latest one. it was ok but some of it was a bit too far fetched for me. Anyway, I've just started watching The Undoing on Sky Atlantic via Now TV but I've only watched the first two episodes so far.

I finished watching The Undoing as there's only six episodes and I really enjoyed it. But I haven't started watching anything else yet though.

Following the death of Ian Lavender aka Private Pike, I saw Dad's Army on TV again and realised it is real comfort TV. Always been background noise to other things but was watching it this evening and got a warm glow of nostalgia remembering it from childhood. Very clean humour but very funny, great performances too. Felt almost like an anti-depressant compared to todays cynical world. Such a timeless show. RIP.

Dad's Arm and Only Fools and Horses are his all time favourites and timeless. Oh, and don't forgt Frank Spencer too ("Betsy!")

Yep, agree mimmi, all those shows always have an air of nostalgia, my dad watched so much of that classic comedy that itβs engrained in my mind! Similarly my dad grew up watching Dads Army and still loves it to this day. An ever present show in my life, totally uncynical and heart warming.

That new drama which starts tonight on Channel 5 looks good Too Good To Be True. I'm going to watch that. I watched the first two episodes on Channel 5 and then I found out that the whole series is on MY5 so I finished it on there and I really enjoyed it, it's really good. Also, I watched the first series on Save Me which I enjoyed and now I'm watching the second series.

Lost In Translation. I've rewatched this masterpiece countless times.
Two persons who are completely lost in this crazy world happen to get to know each other while staying in the same hotel and find a connection with each other.
Love this movie. Best one ever made alongside Se7en.

I finished watching Save Me and Save Me Too which I enjoyed. Then last night I started watching Good Morning Veronica season 3 on Netflix which is a load of crap so I gave up half way through episode 2. Yet the first two seasons were really good so I hope that they don't do anymore.

Robert, respect about coming out from a daughter of an alcoholic.
Edit: Turn of the tide season 1 finale Why Francesco Acquaroli didn't get an Emmy for the rage Monti shows, I'll never know.

Top Of The Lake season one which was ok but it's a bit too slow for me so I won't bother with season two.
