Shetland returns next Wednesday for a new series and I love that programme it's always been one of my favourite detective dramas. However, I read in next weeks TV book that this new series is the final one with Doug Henshaw which is a shame. The series will continue though but I'm not sure how or if it will work as it'll be never the same again.

I've just finished watching Click Bait on Netflix and it was ok but a bit disappointing and it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. But then I'm not a big fan of American dramas I don't know why.

The second series of the new version of Van Der Valk starts tonight on ITV. I really enjoyed the first one they did two years ago. This new series got held up due to Covid. Mind you, I'll watch it on Britbox so that I can watch it without all the adverts.

paper girls... no spoilers, I got quite into it, some good humour and nice performances, short series of 8 eps but a very disappointing finish...

I knew it, there's only Wednesday's episode (the first one) of the new series of Shetland available on BBC IPlayer. They never put the full series of the most popular dramas online until the series has finished. I've noticed that. And, the same goes for ITV too. But at least with Van Der Valk it's a new story every week so you can watch it all in one go.

I’ve started watching The X-Files again from the beginning Nearly finished season 4, best show ever The freaks episode where the mother is on a trolley with no legs....stuck in my mind forever as best episode ever for me |

Documentary about tennis player Arthur Ashe on BBC iPlayer. Great documentary, highly recommended. I was in awe as to what he achieved and how he coped with such pressures being the first major black tennis star. Such a cliche I know, but what a truly inspirational man.

I was also struck at how intelligent and articulate he was, didn't seem like your usual monotonous sports stars. |

That was a unique era in tennis as well, with lots of larger-than-life personalities who were finally shaking up the country club atmosphere and bringing a rock-star grit and glamour to the game. Now it is, like all sports, much more corporate in feel. Nevertheless, looking forward to seeing some action in Arthur Ashe's namesake stadium in a couple weeks.

Was recommended a show on Amazon Prime called "The Expanse" two years ago, but I only got through the first season. The last two weeks, my dad and I have been watching it together and it's still as phenomenal as I remember.
Would highly recommend it if you have spare time, the episodes are 50 minutes.

The last episode of this series of Van Der Valk on BritBox last night. I really enjoy this new revamped version of the series and it's much better than the original one.

I started For All Mankind a few weeks ago and even though it's a bit slow in the first few episodes I'm completely hooked. I'm almost done with s2 already
