I saw MBV in concert at Roseland Ballroom about 4 years ago. My body still hurts from that sonic assault. Extremely loud and even that is an understatement. The band gave out earplugs for free.

Gonna listen to this later tonight. One of those albums/times you gotta sit down smoke a couple bowls too, grab your headphones, and just marvel that after all this time its finally here.
Hopefully it doesn't sound too labored. Shields is one of a kind.

If I had to pick an highlight New You would be it. Everything afterwards seems so dull(and repetitive).

Nothing is might fall under dull and repetitive after 2 listens, but I reckon aside from that, the end of the album is the best part (meaning In another way - my favourite as well, and Wonder 2)

I've not listened to it all yet, but the first three tracks are absolutely immense.
MBV are insanely loud live (regret not taking ear plugs last time), can't wait to see them in March.

Since I'm consciously listening to music they have always been around and hearing something new is astonishing. Such an immensively astounding band. Some people told me it's weird to have like MBV/Oasis/Smiths as your favourite bands at the same time. There must be something about Manchester...

LOVING this album.
I've been humming some of these for the last few days. It makes sense to me, but to others it sounds like: "Fffffffffffffcccccccccccccccccccceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaafffffffffffffffffwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwfssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"
