Start off with Screamadelica.

I reckon you'd be better listening to a few songs from throughout their career that are more accessible. Loaded, Jailbird, Rocks, City, Dolls and Can't Go Back are all great. Then start with albums

This track is amazing. It is the primal scream's equivalent to "I can see it now" , or "sing" (if we talk about blur). It's a pity the 240p quality, but here you go, check this hook:

Absolutely frightenin' how much Noel ripped off the solo in Damaged from 2:40 onwards for Don't Look Back In Anger!

To me Primal Scream are one of the Great Bands of the 90s, some rubbish in there, but 3 outstanding albums in Screamdelica, Vanish Point and Xterminator.
Their output the last 20 years hasn't been great, getting gradually worse it seems. I sae them live in about 2016, their new album stuff was ignored by the crowd, but the classics got everybody going like it was 1996.
Sad to see they are just supporting Alice Cooper on a small tour...and even doing so in Bobby's Home Town Glasgow which is really odd to me...have they really become that unpopular ?
It feels like they are finished.

Love the Scream, and I thought More Light in 2013 was a real comeback for them. Great rocking, modern psychedelic album. As for their live shows, I've always thought of them as a club or theater band. Even at their peak popularity in 94 they still did those types of venues instead of arenas.
New one sounds very promising based on the two singles too:
