I found this song called Take Me Away (Demo) online, and its amazing. I was just wondering if anyone knows the history of this song, and why it was not put on an album or single for all i know. Thanks!

Don't know about the demo but the song itself, a Noel-sung acoustic, was their very first b-side. It was one of the b-sides to Supersonic, along with a great live-only track called "I Will Believe" and the demo for Columbia.

I think the demo and final may be the same thing. I'm pretty sure I got identical mp3s of both.

Noel also donated it to the 'No Boundaries' compilation which was a benefit for Kosovo refugees.
I have that disc. Some good stuff on there. You may not like Bush (the band not GW) but there is a great acoustic version of 'Comedown' on there too along w/ Pearl Jam, Alanis Morisette, Ben Folds Five, Neil Young, Black Sabbath, Wallflowers, Tori Amos, Peter Gabriel and some others mostly doing rare tracks or covers.
