been a long time since i've been listening to an oasis album other than DBTT or HC..so i've put BHN on and when fade in-out set in i wondered whether it's really such a bonjovi-ish tune with those slide guitars and the solos??

i still love it..dunno why. the live version (g-mex) may be a bit better cos the intro is so cracking..

maybe if girl in the dirty shirt was a lil bit shorter than it is FIO would come out more as the heavy guitar tune that it is..but then again speaking about What ifs..

BHN is what it is..huge.

That's not true at all, Depp plays the slide guitar which can quite clearly be heard all over the track (none of the other members of Oasis at the time played slide guitar - hell they don't even do it now!)

Noel spent 9 months on making BHN - he didn't do all thsat just to stick a demo out (plus - a demo with all those guitar overdubs?? Dream on).
