Circa '97. Ever since I saw the Stand By Me(acoustic) video, the one where Liam, Noel, and Alan are playing in Bonehead's(?) house. Almost made my cry. Hehe.

Damn, I feel young! Then again, I probably am much younger compared to you oldies in age and certainly younger Oasis fan! I'd say the start of last year. At the time I was a big fan of Green Day and I heard a mix of Boulevard of Broken Dream and Wonderwall on the radio. At first, I didn't like it. Another band with my favorite band!? Blasphemy! Eventually I warmed up to the song, but I didn't know what it was called. I guess a few days later I was looking around at iTunes and I believe they just released a Mix of the best of Oasis so I curiously checked it out and found Wonderwall. Immediately bought it along with the live version from FTM. I was quite content with that and Green Day until the summer of that year when my Dad introduced classic rock to me via The Who and their movie The Kids Are Alright. Feel in love with it instantly. I guess I looked back on iTunes for Oasis after that and I found DBTT was just released. I bought it and thought, "Now, here's a band thats just quality". Of course, not the exact words but I was excited. DBTT kicked off my likeing of Oasis and eventually Brit-Pop. After that I went to buy FTM and I loved it too. I watched the FTM DVD around that time too and loved it. After that I bought (WTS)MG? and then Be Here Now I think. I loved both, but I think I liked BHN more back then. I remebered when I heard the last part of the reprise for AATW and I knew the band was genious. I then bought Definitely Maybe, Heathen Chemistry, SotSoG, There and Then, and Definitely Maybe(DVD) that summer in that order. Loved it ever since. Another instance that proves Oasis is truely timeless. Also, they helped me learn how to spell "definitely". ;D

September 1998. Got WTSMG from a library, put in the CD-player, heard the first half minute of Hello, then turned the volume to the max, the rest is history

April '94 Prior to Oasis I was known as the most hardcore Smiths/Morrissey in the West Coast. A buddy of mine, Gus, at work had asked if Id heard this band called Oasis that Johnny Marr was talking in a lot of interviews. I said "nah". I member a couple of days later sitting on my couch watchin "MTV Internacional" played "Supersonic" and I thought, "oh thats the band Gus told me bout, thats for me, right fuckin on!" Couple of weeks later I went down Melrose, stopped in at the old Bleecker Bobs that was on the strip and bought Def. Maybe.

i believe it was around november 2002. cant have been before because they cancelled a gig in oct 2002 in singapore and later on someone was like 'oh you must be so disappointed hey cancelled' and i was like 'no not really, cos then i'd be kicking myself so hard for not going to the gig!'
so sometime in novemeber 2002 stop crying your heart out was playing on mtv. amazing song, but most memorably was the way the lead singer just stared right out through the television and right into you. i went into the study and downloaded a bunch of Oasis tracks and that was me hooked

Late 94 early 95, I bought Definately Maybe after seeing the live forever video on MTV (my first exposure to Oasis) then in the fall of 95 when MG came out, I would listen to that CD and DM back to back nonstop for hours, saw them live on 3/9/96, and have been mad fer it ever since.
