How long have you been mad fer it?
I've been since late '96

As soon as MTV U.S. had a special news bulletin about a band called Oasis who had just broke 'The Beatles' 30 year record of fastest selling debut ever in August '94.
Local radio was spinning 'Live Forever' a bit and I went out and bought the cd sometime in Fall of '94 and was blown away.
It was the music and that ONLY as I knew nothing of the infighting or bringing 'british music' back. I didn't care about the UK love for the band either. I did like how they looked on the cd cover. I was like 'hey, they don't have hair in their face alla grunge bands or big hair like metal bands. They dressed LIKE ME.

Feb 1995. I came back from Mexico and MTV would promote like 3-4 videos a month as buzz clips. Live Forever was one, Everything Zen from Bush and a Tangerine song from the Flaming Lips. Oasis was like rush of fresh air. I can still picture the video in my mind being a senior in high school and being blown away. Morning Glory broke later that year

I'm the youngest mad fer it here! ;D i've been mad fer it for about 1 and a half year now, maybe a bit more it's a weird story... I've always liked Oasis, but had never been a fan. So one day i decided to download some songs with Kazza, most of them Oasis. And when I listened to DLBIA at that special time I thought "this is fucking fantastic!!". So i bought all the albuns, and here I am now
