I like it! Just logged in & playing around now. How do I friend someone though?
The "like" function on a post is a better than quoting or giving Kudos, like back in the day.
Is there still scope for more change/tweeks Webby?

Doesn't tell us how many people are viewing each forum section. That was the only way I knew something exciting had happened! each individual board has viewing stats when you scroll to the bottom of page but I see what you're saying

Not sure if this has been asked yet but when i click on "Last Post" it sends me to the start of the thread rather than the end.

I dont have computer or internet. Now on my phone its a mobile version of forum which never happened before. It seems usefull but it no longer shows most recent posted in thread.
I usually used this feature to avoid having to look around the boards on my slow phone. It looks nice but even if I press the "desktop" button once i go to a new link its back to mobile
im probably small minority but good changes overall

Go to the home page and scroll down to where the stats are there you'll find the 'Recent Threads' and 'Recent Posts' option. Geez doesn't anyone read the thread first anymore. This is the 3rd time if said this. Anyway I hope this helps.

To update my previous post....now when i hit "last post" it takes me to the end of the thread like it did on the old forum but only in some selections. Others take me back to the start of a thread. From there I gotta jump to the last page.
For example if i click last post in "unreleased NG demos 2010" it takes me to the last page, post in the thread. If i click on last post in "what are your thoughts" it takes me to page 1 from 2005.

I'm sure they'll have a good look

Reached out to see if the Recent Post link can also be made available on top of the page like in old version ( I ll dig in the code myself when I have more time if need be)
Also suggested to activate the Users Viewing for each individual board on homepage like in the old Version.
Stay tuned

I have found that the last page problem only happens if you're looking at a thread for the first time....or the first time since the update. After you've accessed a thread for the first time, the next time you access it, you'll go straight to the most recent post on the final page of the thread, rather than the first page. If you're accessing a thread for the first time, then it automatically takes you to the first page.
In short:
All the threads that I've accessed since the update, the second time around I access them they take me to the last page.
All the threads that I'm accessing for the first time since the update, take me to the first page of the thread.

one thing I don't like is that shoutbox at the bottom, but that's only because of my irrational hatred toward chatrooms ;D Please participate in our shout box poll . Votes counted in a week will determine if it stays activated , cheers

will do OK so is anyone else having the PM problem? I have it too. I deleted all the old messages (including outbox) and it still shows me like I have one new message and there isn't. I'm liking the new layout, pretty easy to use so far. When posting though there isn't a preview option anymore or am I just blind? Webby, you should speak to some of our artwork designers for new banners for each section, I'm sure they could come up with some great designs. The preview button is now "Visual"

Thanks for the tip.

I have one bit of good feedback. The search feature has improved massively. For instance, in the S&V board you would search for any item, like "Knebworth", it would take forever and report an error. Now it's incredibly faster and lists the results.

Back to the criticisms. Am I missing it or there a way to mark the whole forum or section as read? I actually really like the idea of the shout box. 99% of the time it'll be superfluous but I think it'll be great to have when something truly exciting is going on. Finally with the block feature people can stop complaining about the trolls that pop up and demanding the mods do something about them...and there will be a lot of them next album like there always are it seems to be Have the dimensions of the forum changed? It seems so long to scroll down. Or is it just me not being used to the online forum since I generally just use the iPhone app?
