a little different from the album of the year thread. now,, i'm not talking about albums that you downloaded off of i-tunes (  ), i'm talking about albums that you actually bought physical copies of (cd, vinyl, 8 track tape  ), in stores, shops, or maybe even from a merchandise table at a gig i didn't buy that many myself, but here are the ones i did pick up: -bruce springsteen 'wrecking ball' (cd & vinyl) -bruce springsteen 'born in the u.s.a.' (cd) -bruce springsteen 'tunnel of love' (cd) -silversun pickups 'neck of the woods' (cd & vinyl) -the killers 'battle born' (target deluxe cd version, w/ bonus tracks & remixes) -the rolling stones 'grrr!' (3-disc cd version) -the kinks 'ultimate collection' (2-cd) ( <- FINALLY found a copy here, brand new  ) only one so far on my wishlist for 2013: -catherine wheel 'ferment' (looking for either cd OR vinyl, preferably both.) .... and of course, the new beady eye, if and when it comes out. |

^ ah yes, i didn't buy them, but i DID receive the 7" vinyl single of 'that dangerous age' and the cd single of 'dream on' in the mail from a great friend of mine oh i also forgot, i bought a replacement cd copy of the killers 'sams town' earlier this year, because my original started to skip. |

I also bought "The Wrong Car" (12 inch single) by The Twilight Sad at the mer. table at their gig back in April. Hopefully The National and Erland and The Carnival will release their new album sometime next year.  |
