So...what does everyone think of this new track? I kinda like it. Very heavy. Sounds more Lennon than McCartney IMO but cool nonetheless. Also reminds me of like a sister song of Helter Skelter.

Outstanding. Loved Nirvana. The Guitar & Vocal Rock N Roll from Macca, Harks back to his younger days. He should quit while he's ahead now though.
I hope there is a studio recording of this :-)

I hope there is a studio recording of this :-) You can find it on iTunes under the Sound City soundtrack. I was surprised it wasn't made available for the 12.12.12 Hurricane Sandy benefit concert. The only McCartney track included was Helter Skelter. Bummer. I wanted the live version as well.

Good tune. It must be hard to muster up all that energy in your 70's like Macca has done here.

Lovin this!! Mr Grohl giving his best impression of Animal on the cans.
Can anyone tell me what the hell Macca is playing? It looks like he's playing a cereal box with a fret board sticking out of the end!!

I read on dime that it's apparently a 4-string Baratto cigar box guitar with slide.

I read on dime that it's apparently a 4-string Baratto cigar box guitar with slide. Most commonly it is called a Quatro b/c of the 4 strings. Very common instrument in south america.
