D'you think they'll ever get round to making a Morning Glory DVD? The Definitely Maybe DVD was fantastic and I was really looking forward to the 10th anniversary edition of Morning Glory but it never came. This was probably because they were releasing an album the same year. A DVD of their most popular release could have increased awareness in the band and helped Don't Believe The Truth sales in the United States.
Anyway when they (hopefully) do the DVD what do you want to see on it? I'm hoping for a similar coverage of every song on the album to the last DVD. The second disc could be better utilized to talk about Whatever and all the B-Sides from that era (in the same way they talk about each song on the album) and a bit about Knebworth.
Every album should have a DVD release. Noel may hate Be Here Now but his views on it will be the funniest thing put on any DVD ever.

i think if they do anything they'll release morning glory on the dual-disc. kind of a low profile thing. the other side'll be a documentary. hopefully with more artists talking about the effect of the album on their career

From what i remember from every interview I've ever watched of Noel talking about WTSMG, he never really has much to say about it. Both him and liam always just brush off the questions and say they don't remember what happened during that period of time. Maybe they were too coked-smoked-drunk to even remember what happened during that entire era...

Which performances do you reckon they should put on it? Here's a few I thought of: Hello (Earls Court Nov 95) Roll With It (Glasto 95) Wonderwall (Jools Holland '96) Some Might Say (White Room '95) Would be a great DVD.

Noel's already said he doesn't want to release WTSMG or any more albums on DVD because he feels it would be ripping people off. He wants to release Knebworth years and years down the road when all the fans are really old and it's had time to age and become real nostalgia.
But I agree that it would be funny to hear Noel ripping into Be Here Now all the way through a DVD. Maybe we could hope for that in a G-Mex DVD for 2007?

I think what he means is the more obsessive fans would be buying it on impulse, because they want to collect everything, and not because of the actual DVDs. The DM DVD was just a special thing, if they made it regular it would look like too much of a "consumer" thing. I don't totally agree with him but I see where he's coming from.

"The great Rock n Roll Swindle" as he put it in the interview on FTM. I'd hate to wait that long for Knebworth but a 2006-07 G-Mex DVD would be nice.

i would love any oasis dvd but a morning glory would be fantastic. it's clearly one of if not the greatest works by noel and i think it deserves the release. tons of people got into oasis after hearing it and everyone knows at least 2 of the songs.
