It has leaked and is streaming online today. What does everybody think? Besides the length of some songs (Driftin Back, Ramada Inn) this album is sounding very very strong. Always a good time when Neil rides with the Horse again! Can't wait to see him again at MSG in November.

Gotta give it a listen, thanks for the heads up! Hes playing nearby but the GA floor is sold out. Hopefully I can score some tickets because I'd love to see him with Crazy Horse. Saw Neil solo a year ago and it was amazing.

In other good news, Neil said today during his "#AskNeil" Twitter chat sessions that he will FINALLY be releasing 'Times Fades Away' on CD completely remastered when his Pono music device is released early next year.

^^YES!! Don't Be Denied is one of my favourites and a song that actually name-checks my hometown (where Neil also lived).
Going to see him in a couple weeks in Vancouver, very excited. It will be my first NY concert.

It will be my first NY concert. You are in for a treat, especially with Neil playing with Crazy Horse. The setlists on this tour have only included 12-13 songs but many of those are 10 to 15 minutes in length. Hell driftin' back lasts over 27 minutes live. You'll get an excellent show. When I saw him in 2007, he opened with an hour long acoustic set, 20 minute intermission, returned and rocked out for almost 2 hours. Great show.

Just picked up Psychedelic Pill today. Wow.
This man is insane. He's in his mid 60 - as are the good fellows in Crazy Horse - and they're making exciting, fresh sounding records, outdoing essentially everybody else in music nowadays. Live and on record. I'm very excited to see him next week!
I don't mind the long songs, no one does like they do. But Driftin Back really should cap off at the 18 min mark before it starts back again. That one, She's Always Dancing, Walk Like a Giant are my favourites.

Psychedelic Pill (Alternate Mix) reminds me of something could have been on the album 'Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere'. Looking forward to his Madison Square Garden show.

this album sounds like the cosmic sibling of "ragged glory" during neil's "godfather of grunge" era, which makes me thrilled.
saw him at the global citizen festival and he ROCKED it. he's in his 60s and he sounds like he hasn't lost any of his voice. he was incredible.

The thing I love about Neil Young is he is always restless and hungry. He is a senior citizen and he rocks harder than a lot of 20 year olds. A true legend.

The guy pumps out literally an album a year it seems. Some great, some good, some ok, some shit but the guy keeps recording and releasing music. God bless him.

What a show! It's so amazing to watch Neil and Crazy Horse. Its like they're pals jamming in the basement. Oblivious to the fact that an entire stadium are watching and cheering. Lots of people checking their watches (particularly during the outro to Walk Like a Giant lol).
Here's what they played. Apologies if its a spoiler!
Love and Only Love Powderfinger Born in Ontario Walk Like A Giant Needle and Damage Done Twisted Road "Singer Without a Song" (unknown number, on the piano) Ramada Inn Cinnamon Girl Fuckin Up Mr Soul Hey Hey My My --- Roll Another Number

Love and Only Love Powderfinger Born in Ontario Walk Like A Giant Needle and Damage Done Twisted Road "Singer Without a Song" (unknown number, on the piano) Ramada Inn Cinnamon Girl Fuckin Up Mr Soul Hey Hey My My --- Roll Another Number I saw Neil and Crazy Horse on Tuesday at Madison Square Garden. I literally got the same set as you did. This was my third time seeing Neil and first seeing Crazy Horse. It was a great experience and I'm glad I finally got to see them since who knows when they might tour again, all those guys are almost 70 now. My only complaint was the encore. That concert was screaming to end with Like A Hurricane. It would have brought the house down. They finished their main set with a run of 4 epic songs in a row (cinnamon girl, fuckin up, mr. soul and hey hey my my). They should have kept the tempo going. Oh well. That is Uncle Neil for you. Always expect the unexpected.

I have a feeling he might do another Crazy Horse album quickly now. Neil seems very energized by playing with the Horse and we all know he has plenty of unreleased material to use.

I'm just clowning around. I didn't get into the city as early as I would have liked plus I'm not really into Patti Smith unfortunately.

I was actually hoping he'd go back to Buffalo Springfield. I foolishly missed the majority of their set at Bonnaroo because the heat got to me and I fell asleep in the air-conditioned movie tent. Hopefully, now that Crazy Horse seems to be winding down, we get a more intimate Buffalo Springfield tour!
