2 weeks ago I stumbeled upon a link to a WinRAR document that would contain "4 CD-R's of the Safety Copies of the Definitely Maybe Recording Masters from Whitfield Street Studios. Various versions, different mixes and instrumentals of album tracks and b-sides are included in these recordings believed to be from the aborted Dave Bachelor sessions before the songs were eventually handed over to Owen Morris for the album we know today. I downloaded it, but didn't really looked at it untill now. Now I'm listening to it, I realise there really are A LOT of different versions of DM-era songs. I thought I heard most of them demo's, but there is defenitely some (actually a lot) of stuff I hadn't heared before... So my question to you guys, look at the tracklisting I added, is this something really special and new, or just old stuff that I didn't knew about? I couldn't find anything about this anywhere so I started wondering... If it's the first, I'll post the link here (if that's allowed, is it official material?)

Yeah, some amazing stuff that was provided to us by the amazing bubbledude. Some very interesting version. My favorite are the C&A versions. From the more bluesy versions to the more rocked out finalized versions.

Yeah, some amazing stuff that was provided to us by the amazing bubbledude. I'm just going to correct this wee bit if you don't mind. Bubbledude was kind enough to upload 2 tracks to try and get some more rare recordings out to the community and he also shared the Dig Out Your Soul instrumentals but nothing else came of his offer to get more rarities out there. Howdo was good enough to share the complete sessions around a year ago now and a lot of thanks must go to him and also for sharing loads of other media. So thanks to both Howdo and Bubbledude for sharing the tracks. That was a great time last December to be an Oasis fan as we got so many rare songs around the same time as well as Tom sharing the Be Here Now Rough Mixes too just a couple of months previously. It would be great if there was more to come this year.

Cheers Jim, If certain members was more grateful instead of going round calling the sharers c"nts or other names then maybe more things would get shared freely.

I really enjoy the sessions. It's fascinating to hear those classic songs before the wall of sound was attached to them.
