Sounds beautiful but not Noel's vocals...It's just not a good melody or something he sings...

I think the build up makes it sound like Sunday Morning Call Pt. 2 a little
But i like it better than Let There Be Love

Agreed. This song is really great... it sounds like it belongs on Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants.

BUT... The only scary thing is, take the "Lost behind the silver screen are all the things you could have been to us"... and replace it with "thank you for your smile, you make it all worthwile to us"... AND IT FITS PERFECTLY

Its good. Not great. Would make a nice be side. Glad it's not on the album. Also, has anyone heard the two remixes that are on the soundtrack? If so, any good?

I think it's great. I like the mix of it better than LTBL as well! If Liam had sung it then it would be single-worthy, IMO.

I think it's a great song. In the top 5 new Oasis songs of the year anyway, along with Mucky Fingers, Let There Be Love, The Meaning Of Soul and Part Of The Queue.

Fucking fantastic.
I've had it on practically non-stop since I first heard it; I reckon it pisses all over a lot of the stuff on the album, and it's the song that Let There Be Love wishes it was.
Oh, and it's better than at least half of X&Y.

agreed, agreed why didn't noel let liam sing it Liam only sings his, Gem's and Andy's songs these days. Noel keeps his to himself.

I didn't have high hopes for this, but I just heard it yesterday and… damn! I likes it. The thing is, Liam could have sung it, and I wish he had. Noel sings it kind of high, but it's in Liam's range.
But this thing with Liam only "guesting" on his brother's songs these days: it must stop. Maybe we could send a petition to Noel — "we the undersigned say Liam must sing 80% of all future Noel Gallagher compositions comprising album tracks/singles/b-sides released under the name Oasis." And then Noel could write us back — "My band. My songs. Fook off. Cheers, Noel. P.S. If I actually thought for one second that you'd stop buying Oasis stuff, I might take you seriously."
So, I suppose the questions is, do I track down the soundtrack (is it coming out in the US?) or do I wait for it to be released as a b-side on the next single (I'm just assuming it'll be a b-side. I have no confirmation).

NO NO NO liam has most of the songs noel is a really good singer and plus some of those notes liam couldn't hit....im sorry but this is noels song he couldn't do LTBL so let him have this one
