I really want to hear that 9 minute version of Ain't Got Nothing complete with bagpipes, penis pumps and Noel rubbing a kitchen sink!

The pre-Sardy version of HFB before he messed with the drums etc.
I know he said "It sounds like two men in a room playing tunes" or something to that effect and meant it as a bad thing...but I'd like to hear a more intimate version of the album

I also really want to hear Revival. Where did this song disappear to? It was a demo after SOTSOG and before HC. I remember Noel saying it had a "Louie Louie" vibe to it. Oh well...
Noel definitely has enough unreleased material to put out a nice and interesting anthology down the road.

This is obvious but the 'Mustique' Be Here Now demos. The lost '90s stuff is where the real value is.

I think there are versions somewhere between the demos and the HFB. Noel said he demoed (which presumably is what we are getting) then went into the studio and recorded the songs and thought he was almost ready to release...but then they rerecorded a bunch of stuff and added stuff. The demos are pretty cool to have. Definitely a low-fi version of what the album was like before version. They'll do.

Oh without a doubt there are versions between these demos and what he presented to Sardy originally. Completely agree on that. I love the acoustic versions of many of these tracks. I wish they were all that way. Seems like some more polished takes were sprinkled in.

I wonder if the difference in the quality throughout is when they are from more than them changing the demos to make them sound nicer for this release. I think Noel started using a studio to demo again when he left Oasis and no longer had Gem to run the portable studio. Get the impression Noel isn't any good with anything the least bit technical. I remember him mentioning that he used a kid that worked in the office of the studio he demoed WAL at to put down the piano bit.

Going Nowhere. With the choir and Noel's current voice? That needs to happen. Fuck Angel Child. Going Nowhere deserves a first live play and properly recorded, too..... Phenomenal tune.
