I guess I should say what you're all waiting to hear. Yeah, its pretty good only found 192kbs at the moment, worth getting now, then get the deluxe edition in higher quality. Elephant sounds like an anomaly on the record, doesn't fit in too well to be honest, the whole thing is much more in the vein of Apocalypse Dreams.

That's too bad, I like Elephant a lot more than Apocalypse Dream. Apparently Elephant is a pretty old tune, from their early days around the first EP. Massive tune live, that guitar break down gave me chills!

FYI, unless you found a different link, the leak is a transcode of a 96kb rip... I wouldn't recommend listening to it! No offense.

Pretty solid album after several spins. Some of the material gets very catchy on multiple listens. Looking forward to when they come to New York this winter.

pretty awesome album. I've only listened to it 3 times but a handful of tracks standout right away. Great sounds and great jams. I imagine this one will get better with each listen.

The iTunes bonus track, "Led Zeppelin", is an awesome tune. How is that not on the album? Great guitar work. Wow.

Pitchfork gave the album a 9.0 out of 10. They usually trash all the bands I like so it is nice to see some love outta them. NME also handed out a 9/10. I liked their comparison to the Beatles '67 era.

'Feels Like We Only Go Backwards' and 'Sun's Coming Up' are fucking amazing! I don't know about the rest of the album yet. But at the moment I think their first album, Innerspeaker, is the better one. But I think Lonerism will grow on me.

Got a weird awkward amazon.com release and then pulled. No appearance of it since. Very strange.

It's been a while now, how do you guys rate it compared to Innerspeaker?
Personally, I prefer Innerspeaker, I have to say I miss the choruses and more traditional song structure and instruments, but there's no doubt that this is another great album, and I would have been more dissappointed had this been the exact same album with different names.
Elephant seemed the superior single in my opinion, but it seems a little odd on the album, while apocolypse dreams really shines - at its peak is maybe the high point of the whole album. Mind Mischief is pretty awesome too.
Sun's coming up is really the only song left to hit me though.

You should really listen to more experimental music if you think Lonerism doesn't have any choruses, traditional song structure, or instruments. In fact, I'd say Lonerism has bigger choruses is more anthemic than Innerspeaker.

You should really listen to more experimental music fair enough, would you like to reccommend, since you seem to know a lot about music? but I'm still pretty sure that the choruses aren't quite as big as it reaches in like, Soltitude is Bliss or Lucidity. And I didn't say that it was lacking any of those, just that it was less pronounced compared to Innerspeaker.
