Noel's hidden treasure and a classic song is that.

his voice is still great, almost 20 years after. I'd argue Noel's voice is immeasurably BETTER today than in those early Oasis days (which seem both a long time ago and just yesterday at the same time)!

Such a great tune.
It never needed the "demo" tag, it felt perfectly recorded.
That was an *awesome* single: DYKWIM, Stay Young, Angel Child, Heroes.

When I hear a cover, I expect the artist to do something different with it to make it their own. Oasis just made their cover louder. Fail.

I remember coming home with the Wonderwall single and literally being blown away - and that's not an understatement - by Round Are Way and The Masterplan. And then Don't Look Back in anger some months later. And then DYKWIM sounding like nothing I'd ever heard before. Incredible, stunning days.

Thank you for posting the vid. I've been going insane trying to figure out how to play this on the guitar. Silly me, it didn't even cross my mind that there are 2 guitars playing. His bass player is playing lead acoustic and that's where all those cool little riffs are coming from. The last few days I've been scratching my head trying to figure this one out.

Yeah, when I learned to play the song, I played the riffs with the chords. The studio version seems to be just one guitar, but if you give your attention, will see that have 2 guitars. Nice job from Russell on this video.

I never gave much attention to the details of Angel Child, so I delayed to realize the 2nd guitar. Yes, is very obvious with headphones ;D

Sorry I have not heard the studio version. Does that mean I have to turn in my Noel Gallagher fan card? The Dingwalls recording was the first time I've heard the song.

You dont even need headphones it's that obvious. I actually thought there were three guitars on the studio "demo"
