Noel didn't write it, but isn't there a shine in "Turn Up the Sun"? Or are we just counting Noel-penned Oasis tunes?
And in keeping in this same vein, did anyone notice that 3 tracks in a row on DBTT use some variation on the phrase "blow my mind"?

The only update I can think of now is that it's used twice in Hindu Times. "..SHINES on, SHINES on me...."

WAIT! My mistake!
"Turn Up the Sun" does not have a "shine" in it. For some reason, when "Turn Up the Sun" is playing in my head, I always hear "Come on, Turn Up the Sun/Let it shine on everyone" when the real second line is "turn it up for everyone". I think I'm confusing it with "Who Feels Love" (though the songs don't sound alike), where the sun shines on everyone. Everyone who feels love, that is.
What is it about British bands and the sun? I guess the sun comes out so infrequently there that they have to write a song about it everytime it shows its face. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I like songs about the sun. The sun is good. It… well, it shines, doesn't it? I think Noel would agree.
