People talk all the time about Noel and Liam being intensive assholes, but other than the AIDS quote, I don't think they've ever been as vile, dogmatic, or numb as Morrissey.
I will always love the Smiths and Morrissey's lyrics, but I will always wonder how someone who as gifted with words as Morrissey is, can be so numb to what he himself is saying.

I love that he complains about lack of freedom of speech while exercising his freedom of speech.
Get a clue Morrissey. If you had said the same stuff about Hitler you'd have been tossed into a hole SO deep they'd never have found you.
He can still go back to England any time he wants. All that he has proved is that you do indeed have a freedom to be a dick in the UK.

I idolise this man and his immense talents - I really do and The Smiths are the greatest band ever in my opinion. But this is ridiculous.
Cheering on Team GB's inspirational athletes is hardly akin to loving the most evil fascist regime the world has ever seen. In fact, comparing such trivial matters to the most vile and horrendous event in history is offensive I feel.

Feeling good about the UK after two years of this disgraceful, corrupt government - who are blatantly trying to fuck over regular people on a daily basis (tripling student tuition rates and destroying the NHS being prime examples) is hardly blind nationalism.
It's a welcome change!

Good on people getting patriotic for the olympics I just find it hard when I see that faggot posh boy David Cameron at the Olympics in a special box on a hell of a lot of money in these "tough economic times"... To be fair on him, David Cameron is as liberal a Tory you are gonna get. However, he is in charge of a party of numpties. If he wasn't in charge, the cuts would be a hell of a lot deeper than what Osborne currently wants. If that idiot Boris Johnson gets in, all he would care about is sucking up to the bankers. On average, that man has spoken to 70% more bankers than ordinary folk. |
