I've just gone to order both versions of the single and the two empty boxes (in order to complete the collection) and the S&H (p&p in British terms!!) is £13.71!!!!!!!!
Provided the parcel isn't more than 1kg, you can post a parcel 1st class for £4.30 in the UK!!!! I'm taking a stand and not ordering!!! Sick of getting taken for a sucker and getting ripped off!
Either I'm getting too old for my collection or I'm too skint. Come to think of it, I'm both!!
Absolute BOLLOCKS that!!

£10 for shipping takes the piss really. As a result might have to miss out on the CD box. Will the vinyl box be able to house the album on vinyl?

Tell you what though, Beady Eye missed a trick last year when they didn't reissue the singles to go with the box. I was missing a few at that point, still missing Four Letter Word now tbh.

strange. i must have been one of the first to buy since i basically refreshed the ng website and it came up and my total is £35.29. £10.31 postage and 0 Tax. For the two empty boxes and cd and 12".
Postage seems to have increased, no? I'm in england by the way.

I was £23.56 for two empty boxes from the NG website. I had already pre-ordered the CD and 12" from Record Store for £10.23 all in.
Postage is a disgrace, they will be charging more to make up for the cost of printing the "free" picture.

Yeah would've been a good idea. I missed out on Four Letter Word as well. The pre-order e-mail went into my spam box so I didn't see it until it had sold out! Was so pissed off at the time. Still think the postage is way too steep on these box sets though. |

I'll be getting my copy of the EOTR and DO cd singles as I've not yet got those. As for the rest of it, I won't bother. I love to collect this stuff but a) where the hell do you put it all? and b) with the internet, everything is literally at your disposal.
So my rule is essentially, if I come across it in 'real life' (ie not the internet) then I get it. But otherwise, only the bare essentials. CD singles qualify as essentials to me. I wish BDI would have done their singles on CD as well.

Didn't get the Beady Eye one mostly for price. Not gonna get this one. Got all the singles though on vinyl for both. I'll wait and get it on eBay someday for three times the price I'm sure.
