Fast and Furious was a policy of a sting operation of giving Mexicans (and Americans) guns, in an attempt to track them. It went wrong, and those guns lead to 200+ deaths.
Attorney General Eric Holder, who played a huge part in this policy, has lied and made several misstatements. He now refuses to hand over documents.
He's being charged with contempt of Congress.
Obama has, today, ordered executive privilege on those documents. Now Obama is involved. Not only is he doing something he said he was against in the 2008 campaign, but he's clearly covering something up (btw, you can't exert executive privilege to cover something up). So much for the transparent president.
Holder is screwed. And Obama could very well be, too.
He leaks our foreign policy and security secrets, and he covers up documents that need to be released.
November isn't too far away now. Will this be the final nail in the Obama administration? The guy is way over his head. So incompetent.
40 years ago this week, Watergate happened. What a way for Obama to mark it! This should be more serious than Watergate - it wont be due to the media coverage, but conceptually it is much more serious.

It's both sides actually, Bush sat on his hands and said no to fixing the border holes along that fence.

Still find it hilarious how critical people are of individual politicians and/or their parties while championing another politician or party as if they will be any better. History has proven time and time again regardless of which side of the fence they are on, politicians will find a way to fuck things up for their own gain.
Romney will be just as bad, if not worse, than Obama.

Don't you think blaming Bush for everything is kind of weak now? Frankly, Bush was a far better president than Obama, and I think history will show that once this incompetent clown is kicked out this fall.

For what it's worth, the House found him in contempt of Congress. No surprise there.

I got news for you, buddy. We've already had worse and no way has Obama been worse than your pal GW. No amount of rhetoric and right wing leaning crap will ever convince me otherwise. Dude drove the country into the ground in every way possible and managed to have a stupid look on his face the entire time as well.
Obama was handed a huge pile of shit and he hasn't managed to do enough with it, but you're beyond delusional if you think Romney will be any different. He will be just like the others and with the bipartisan bullshit that goes on nowadays with each side blocking the other's attempt to do anything...we're all fucked for a long long time while the assholes that are fucking us make more and more money.
It's not about Romney or Obama - the whole system is broken. I don't know why you insist on pretending Republicans do everything right.

Too tired to get into the Bush v Obama debate right now, but I stand firm in my belief that the former has been better and that that will be the common consensus in the not too distant future.
As for not getting anything done?
IF, and that's a mighty fine big IF, Obama has a second term, he will get NOTHING done. Literally, nothing. Republicans already have control of the House, and it's not out of the realm that they get the Senate.
But Rifles, my dear pot pie eating friend, if, and this is a small if in comparison, Republicans control both chambers of Congress and the White House - which is a real possibility - then look out....Obamacare, for one, will be destined to the history books (and not in a good way), and Republicans will have at least 4 years to enact their own legislation just as Obama and the Democrats had theirs......
