Rubbish IMO, some pretty dreadful acting- apart from Noel, he looks as cool as in this video. He almost looks as cool as Liam  |

It's like the Dream On video, a silly aside to a song that wasn't originally going to be a single. If you're critiquing it like a movie then you're always going to be disappointed, it's like listening to Bonehead's bank holiday expecting to hear A Day in the Life. Videos don't matter any more so you might as well have a laugh. |

I have to agree that it missed the mood of the song completely, but overall it atleast was entertaining. Music videos now-a-days are possibly the biggest waste of money and time! Ridiculous.
Well, I guess that is how Noel would like to have this great tune remember, right?

The weakest of the HFB vids but I've liked them all so far and this was enjoyable enough. I could have done with less emphasis on the blasted shoes but I suppose they fit "lyrically".
I think Los Angeles is the most boring city to film in and it would have looked better shot in London - especially given the emphasis on the Olympics right now. I'm guessing the the choice of song may be in the hope that it gets used in those endlessly dull Olympic montages that try to make the games look interesting and epic.
The main guy is the gormless groom from the IIHAG video, right? Fooling about before the wedding? After the wedding?

this is a bit shit, I imagined something a bit epic like Noel walking through a mine field whilst explosions and shit are going off, and there's a bunch of soldiers marching in time to the beat and then everybody runs around trying not to get exploded by grenades in the face and stuff.
Instead we get a nude bloke running around a street and Noel driving around in a car (not getting chauffeured for a change) thinking the same as me right now: what the fuck is this?

Plus driving in LA is a nightmare, so imagining Noel trying to drive there makes me laugh.

- A half naked women running around in leopard print underwear. Check.
- For the ladies and NL4E, a half naked man. Check.
- A hippie skateboarder doing some interesting tricks and jumps. Check.
- Token black pimp. Check.
- Skateboarding Hippie gets hit by a driving Noel Gallagher. Check.
- Sex with shoes on, which incidentally has been scientifically proven to increase the frequency and duration of orgasms in both men and women. Check.
I don't see what's so terrible. We have a) partial female nudity, b) hippie getting hit by a vehicle and c) Token Black Pimp.
Three ingredients that, in most situations, would either cook up a Seventies Cop Film or a Seventies Porno. Will I watch again? No, but when you think of it in the vein of "Retro Flashback to Seventies Cop Porno Films", it's not entirely terrible. Noel must have been doing his homework!
