I'm a bit split on this one. I like Muse quite a lot, can't wait to see them live again... But the clip at the end is odd... The general sound is quite cool, but it's the voice thing that I think makes it sound like dubstep... I guess I'll have to wait to see what I think of the actual album... Hopefully the dubstep sort of sound is a small part of it... Like the instrument Matt used to create the sounds though, he did it all on kitara... quite clever. Want to try convince my college to buy one, aha.  |

the first 1:30 are really good. i won't judge the rest because we don't know if it's on the album or not. but it's not that bad either

They released the new song "Survival" in BBC Radio 1 at this afternoom. I really enjoyed the song.

I think it's time for them to pack it in, their last few albums have ranged from forgettable to garbage. after absolution, they should have called it a day...the album after that was okay at best...then the one after that..i just didn't give it a listen. |

I like the new track. The lyrics are very cheesy, and Matt's new vocal style is taking time to get used to, but the actual music is pretty good, I think... And that last note Matt hit!  |

The chances are, though, that this is a standalone single, and it won't be on the album... If it was, I'd have expected them to have announced that it would be on there already.

the lyrics are horrible, but the song itself with the choir and the monstrous guitar makes it an epic track. really like it

Think that I'll enjoy this new album. "The 2nd Law: Unsustainable" is a very good and dinamic song, even without lyrics. "Survival" is just ok, but people are saying that it's one of the weaks of the record.
In a few hours I'll listen "Madness", so then my opinion will be more consistent. I really like Muse, and I like of "The Resistance". This new record has everything to be much better.
