So the summer is here and the festivals are about to start. When it comes to Noels setlist, will he be doing like Coachella 12-13 songs or will we get the standard 20 songs?
I know it will probably vary from fest to fest with the line-up and amount of performances and so limited time.

I'd have guessed it would be about 15 songs at a guess?

Coachella, at least in comparison to other American festivals, have pretty short time slots. For example: 50 minutes at Coachella would almost be the equivalent of 1.5 hours at Bonnaroo. Considering he's probably sub-headlining most events, I'd say anywhere from 13-16.

He kept Mucky Fingers in the setlist but not Whatever or Supersonic? And where is A Simple Game Of Genius?

Really disliking the festival setlist. Supersonic was one of the best moments of the gig I attended, and I really was looking forward hearing "whatever".
Why does he insist on playing IGTBF and MF? The first one is one of my least favorite songs on the masterplan, Noel's version is allright, but not that exciting. MF is a nice uptempo song, but hearing this instead of whatever, or even listen up or the masterplan actually hurts. Not to mention the omission of ASGOG.
Noel's just being lazy. Big deal, the past few months he included 2 b-sides and played DYWBAS acoustically... If he could just change a few songs every other month or so he could make a lot fans really happy...

He should remove (It's Good) To Be Free and Mucky Fingers of the setlist. In their places I'd like of A Simple Game of Genius and Whatever.

I've never liked his version of IGTBF & surely for festivals you want an upbeat song to start the set

Noel LOVES Mucky Fingers, he's let it been known since the release of DBTT. it's obviously not all that great but frankly i loved the song when Oasis performed it live, The High FLying Birds tho don't make the song any justice. I am glad he's gotten rid of Supersonic, the version he was doing was fucking comical, a total mess. And he is still doing 6 Oasis songs, so it's all good i suppose.

I agree, when Oasis did Mucky Fingers it was fantastic! I don't like the High Flying Birds version w/ 2 guitars and no harmonica Also, i wouldn't mind Whatever over Supersonic as long as it was just acoustic, didn't care much for the full band version at the 02 arena

i thought he has said that he was putting some old unfinished oasis tracks into the festival setlists? Yeah, but let's wait a moment. He just did a one small festival. In two weekends he'll play at Hurricane and Isle of Wight, and these festivals are significant to take some impressions. About Supersonic, the acoustic versions just have feeling to closed gigs. Festivals are more to electric songs. Mucky Fingers, ok, but (It's Good) To Be Free, what a waste of time...

It's a bit silly that he's halfway into his set before getting to a song anyone just checking him out will have heard before. And since they won't have heard Broken Arrow or Mucky Fingers anyway, he may as well still play Freaky Teeth.

Mike Rowe on fire on Mucky fingers, I fucking love it. and the bassist is giving it a good run
dont see how anyone could think it's a bad version.

I prefer the HFB version, the backing vocal is awesome.

Supersonic was laughable and IGTBF quite forgettable but we all know and understand why he decided to play them. Glad he's no doing them anymore.

Supersonic was easily a highlight in the set. I'd bet that the majority of people on here that went to a gig enjoyed the new version of Supersonic.

It was a beautiful version of Supersonic but I'm not surprised it's been dropped from the festivals

Really excited to see Noel, Stone Roses and Kasabian this weekend!! I doubt we get any changes in Noel's setlist, but as long as he does EOTR, IIHAG and DLBIA it's all good.
