2 good games to start. Not the best tactical football but love entertaining stuff. Poland threw it away, Greece aren't very good. Don't think either team will go through. Russia were class but should have been out of sight a lot earlier. Better strikers and they'd have a great chance. As it is I don't think they'll get out of the 1/4 finals (the teams in group B!).
Looking forward to tomorrow. They should be two great matches especially the second.

Russia defeated The Netherlands 4 years ago... it won't be an easy team
it's a pity what Poland did. They had the perfect match but were afraid of go ahead and getting it for sure. Still lucky to get a point

After Denmark beat Holland - was so expecting a great match from Germany and Portugal but it's been bloody awful - only got going now cause Germany just scored - no surprise

Wow.
I know Russia are a dark horse, but 4-1 winners over a solid Czech Republic? Wow.
I know Denmark are decent, but to beat Holland? Wow.
Portugal - Germany could have gone either way,, but a Germany win makes sense.
What a start to the Euros, though!

the Germans were lucky to win... No. They deserved it. why not? if the goalkeeper saves a lot isn't he playing good? the striker that keeps failing to score is playing good? I agree with Guille. The team that scores more is the one who deserves to win. It can be done with different styles, more or less beautiful, but it's winning is about scoring. What utter bullshit.

Wow, the Danes certainly know how to play football. Was very impressed with them, kept and passed the ball well. Entertaining first two days of the Euros - this tournament never fails to entertain. The last two Euros (2004 and 2008) have been far more entertaining than the last two dire World Cups in my opinion.

The first 4 games (despite the two games today not being as good as yesterday) have been better than the entirety of the last world cup. And no vuvuzelas either.

the Germans were lucky to win... As a Germany fan, yeah, it was pretty lucky. But we did a great job defending against Ronaldo and Nani. I would be thrilled if Germany sent home the Netherlands by winning on Wednesday
