Crazy genius. My favorites are Missing Pieces and Hypocritical Kiss for now.

I never had an opinion either way until I saw It Might Get Loud. Now I just think he's full of shit. Looked out of place next to Jimmy Page and The Edge.

If anything, The Edge looked out of place. Great guitar player, but his style is completely different Page and White. Anyway, great solo album, he hasn't released a bad album yet. If you don't like The White Stripes you probably don't like rock.

They're good but overall I don't hear anything exceptional.

Big fan. Loved his work in the Raconteurs especially. Blunderbuss is great man.

They were just there among the many albums I've ever listened to. Nothing ever stood out for me to form a decent opinion. They were just there.

I funking love the white stripes music! But to be honest I'm not a massive fan of jack white.... he can still crack them out like sixteen saltines but nothing else on the album really jumped out to me. Gave icky thump a listen today and it was better than i remembered (catch hell blues!). haven't heard get behind me satan in a while but i just remember it not being rocky enough, just piano (probably not, but anyway) Live though... jolene under great northern lights might be the best thing i've ever heard! and black math under blackpool lights is just..!! Also what the hells the deal with the vault?! I'm dying to get hold of some of those live dvds like under nova scotian lights, Mississippi lights, moorhead lights all fargo night (missing any?) and that new one but they're impossible to find and even if you did they'd be ridiculously expensive check it, btw anyone know of the white stripes equivelent to the l4e forum?... edit: just listened to get behind me satan and its better than i rememberd it, ill have to put it on more often.

I quite like this trend of releasing a sample vid in advance of an album launch....this album sounds like it’s going to have some incredible beats, bass and grooves...looking forward to it.
On first listen, I prefer Respect Commander to Connected by Love but that may change.

For a guy who once said that he has a disdain for eletronica music, it's nice to see him going a bit weird, he experimented a bit on Get Behind Me Satan, but not on the same livel as these new songs. Great.

His songs are fun to play on guitar but other than that there's nothing "exciting" in him. Decent music I guess.

Sounds interesting. I've been getting into his Dead Weather stuff recently, he's great on drums. This is pretty much what i was expecting from Noel's record but was disappointed. Hope this is better.

WTF! I thought the album cover was that wall/blue hand thing but no, this is it!: Haha - Terrible! The limited edition version (below) is a bit better but still very questionable! Looks like Michael Jackson putting out a Nu-Metal record around the year 2000. Get someone better in Jack. Someone with some better Photoshop skills at least!

His songs are fun to play on guitar but other than that there's nothing "exciting" in him. Decent music I guess. I have this thing with The White Stripes, great band, great songs, they sounded very tight, the songs are great and well played, well produced, the guitar work is excellent, but for some reason they sounded the same for six albums. It is the same formula, only with lots of pianos, organs, harmonicas... to differ the songs, only on Satan he went a bit weird. Jack has an aversion for eletronica musica or modern sounds, not even an orchestra or a trip hop sound you will find in TWS, and it doesn't help that their album covers has the same colors, red, black and white, so they all tend to blend with each other in your mind. However he is very talented, talented enough to find multiple variations from the same sound to do his music, he is a great guitarist but also he knows how to use other instruments like harmonica and organs to give great effects on the songs, and the quality is very high and it is hard to find bad songs in The White Stripes albums.
